It was suggested recently for a world in which it is not possible to plunder resources by attacking other villages.

The idea has received a fair amount of forum support, and so we are bringing it to your attention to vote on whether or not you would like to see this implemented as a possible setting for a future world.

How this would work:
You will be able to attack as normal, however if you win the battle, your troops will not be able to plunder any resources from the defending village, even if it has resources visible.

  • The hiding place would not be needed. Players would not be required to have a hiding place in order to protect their resources from attacks.
  • Farming for resources will not be possible, though you will still be able to attack other villages and kill off their troops.

Probable implications:
  • Because plundering resources will be impossible, high levels of activity and farming will have less impact on growth than on existing worlds. Newer players or players with lower activity will be able to thrive using strategy and tactics, rather than high activity.
  • During world start-ups, a lot of early-world gameplay is currently centered around regular farming. Without farming, it is conceivable that players might find the early world less action-packed because of this.

To vote in this poll, please go to Settings > Surveys in-game to cast your vote. It will remain open for 5 days (closing at midnight on December 13th).
