Okay Me and my girlfriend both play, and she logs on to her's while she's at my house and I log on to mine when I'm at hers. We never send each other anything because this game is for some friendly competition. So my question is should we be adding each other to the shared internet connection list or are we good to continue how were doing it now?

I think it would be prudent to add yourself to the shared connection list.

no idea to tell you the truth but you may get banned by a multi hunter if you dont. So it would probably be in your best interest to do so, doesnt take long and if its not needed then no big waste.
