I agree, there is only the defence that you prefer.
you could even have 20k of spears and say that is your best defence, you would be an idiot, but it doesnt make it wrong.

there is one thing you guys are doing wrong with your sims
you are using 1 defense nuke against 1 offense nuke
try stacking. 3 or more defense nukes and have that same 1 offense nuke hit
since i asked here. i've run a bunch of sims
i found some very interesting results
i'm also going to try some other suggestions here
i think LONG TERM. which means stacked villages
cause 1 vs 1. the results are VERY VERY different from stacked cities

Haven't found 1 nuke that could kill my defense yet. Put 15 of them in a village and you got no worries.

as soon as your opponents start hitting deff like that they build axe and ma (takes 12% longer to train than axe/lc but does 114% more damage) and you start getting hit with off like:
7075 axe
2585 ma
No rams?
Also, how do you figure 114% better?

training axe and ma give you ~14.15 general attack and ~15.51 archer attack per population
the defense being attacked has 370:264:101 gd:cd:ad
just play with the simulator and you'll see what I mean, by axe&ma doing 114% more damage than axe&lc

(12.53 + 22.32) / (14.15 + 15.51) = 17% more raw strength with axe & lcav than axe & ma, not just 12%
ma have 120 attack, not 130. Try changing that, and you'll get the same result I think.
though I said, 114% more damaging. well, now that I look closer, it caps at ~129% more damaging, not 114%
yes axe and lcav have more "raw" attack strength, but you need to consider what you're attacking - it's a lot stronger against infantry and cavalry than archers

I didnt say it was my build, and your taking the quote out of context.
I never said it would be effective against an MA nuke.
