Hi everyone,

Once again, we're back with two new contests for your chance to win some premium points. We can also now announce the winners for the June prize draw and the "use your imagination" contest.

August contest - Funny story contest New!
Closing date: - End of August 31st.

This month, we'd like you to write a funny story, song or poem... but this isn't just any story because this time, we've decided to interfere a bit with your beautiful prose. We've got a list of 20 words and phrases we'd like you to include in your work. They don't have to be included in order, but we will be checking for each and every phrase!

How to enter:
  • Write your story, poem or song using a maximum of 800 words. Please ensure your entry falls within the word count, as entries that are even one word too long must be disqualified. Every word/phrase on the list must be included in its entirety.
  • After you have written your story/song/poem, create a new topic here. Paste your story into the reply box, then check it over one last time to make sure it's correct, then submit your entry. Note: after you have submitted your topic, you will not see it appear in the forum, as it will only be visible to staff
  • After the contest has closed, judges from the staff will vote on each entry to decide the winners, which will be announced once the judging is finished.

Prizes:
1st prize: 1000 premium points
2nd prize: 600 premium points
3rd prize: 400 premium points
Plus, 2 further runners up will win 200 premium points each.


Contest rules:
  • One entry per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be excluded.
  • Images are not permitted. Text only.
  • Entries cannot be more than 800 words.
  • Your entry must abide by the forum rules (ie. explicit/inappropriate pictures are forbidden). It must contain every word and phrase in the list above.
  • You must be currently playing a world to receive a prize.
  • Forum and ingame staff are not permitted to enter.

August prize draw New!
Closing date: End of August 31st, 2011.
Prizes: Each of the 6 winners will receive 200 premium points each.

How to enter: Submit your entry by visiting http://prizedraw.twstats.com/. You will need to log in using your TribalWars account name and password. Once you have done this, you will be automatically entered into the draw. When the contest closes, 6 winners will be selected at random for a prize.

  • You must be currently playing a world to receive a prize.
  • Forum and ingame staff are not permitted to enter.
