Devotion? How many members will try to escape from this...

Throw my two cents in.

I really dont think LSD was a bad a tribe as people made it out to be. We worked well in groups and units which allowed us to take on those multiple smaller tribes and do well. When the time came that we needed to combine as a group, well it kinda fell flat - to say the least.
And yeah it essentially came down to leadership failure. However, I dont think any of the individuals themselves are primarily responsible.

Km5 didnt want to lead and had been thrust into it, got very frustrated and removed herself from the situation.
Baron probably wanted to lead, and nothing against him personally, but if your gonna lead a top ranked tribe you need to be pretty damn active.
Morpeth didnt really want to lead either. He even relinquished his position and privs a few weeks ago, people were shocked and wanted him back. So he came back.

The real problem is that no one wanted to grab the bull by the horns and take charge, so in that respect I kinda sympathize with what Morpeth did, and would even defend his actions to a degree.
On a side not as well, I can confirm that at least from my perspective and he is a good team player and did indeed send a LOT of defense to oef. Ive played with a few No1 (or 2) players, and often they can be pretty sucky team players at this stage. Morpeth isnt.

I doubt the members because of this will just turn around and quit, most might have a rough time, specially if on the frontline with Escape, some might get picked by Escape, although. From what I expect, there is just going to be a new tribe taking the top pretty soon.

The ones who were neither here nor there, like oef will almost certainly quit or just be eaten. The serious players will carry on and this will probably be a good thing for them in the long run

Tis a sad day for W60 Imo. The first potentially "real War" never even had a counter-offensive strike happen.
Furthermore I do feel sorry for Morpeth, he did get stitched up good and proper, his own fault ? ofcourse. But how many would do the same. I'm guessing alot.

So well done to us(Escape). For taking 20 villages and beating the rank 2 tribe. /facepalm

I do look forward to them reforming to give us more of a fight.. So dont let me down

I also agree that a lot would do the same and it im sure this situation happens on every single world time and time again. Maybe just not between the top 2 tribes though, so this gets more notice.

Power Ranger,
90 farmed villages? Your dreaming. :icon_rolleyes:
A scout report that comes back with no troops in it, does not mean its a farm. And nor does it mean you can take it at will. Well, at least when the accounts have sitters or players that care.
Maybe your 3rd attempt at capturing a war target will now be successful that im no longer going to be sitting them?

+100.

Recruitment was 41% of the reason I disbanded.
No leadership was 39% of the reason I disbanded.
Potentially getting into Escape with SOME mates was 20% of the reason for disbanding.

If you were set to disband already, considering 80% of the reason you wanted to disband had nothing to do with Escape, it is fairly clear that you would have done so without Escape having any influence - ie, it would have been done already.

So, you are lying. You disbanded because you weren't prepared to help your tribemates out, and wanted a big tribe to hide in whilst nobling out the same people you couldn't be bothered helping out. You ran to Escape, got played like the fool that you appear to be, and then got treated like said fool.

I didn't have 100% reason to disband before. I needed a catalyst, or a reason to finally disband. KM's offer sealed the deal. He offered myself, Berny, and several of LSD a spot in Escape, that was instantly retracted as soon as LSD disbanded. I was approached with the offer, I didn't come up with the offer, and then i was included in the group chat, where the discussions had already taken place. I only had to ask and negotiate terms, and then it was a done deal. Kudos to KM for dropping the NAP and then retracting this offer as well. I hope things turn better in the future, less flame and more proving myself in game, which i will do. I will EARN a spot in Escape, rather than talking myself into one. I never sold LSD out, I denied giving him any information, it was an exchange of members was all.

I constantly voiced my opinions on recruitment, yet there would always be someone new recruited, despite knowing they had no co-player, and definitely don't have the skills equal to Valour/Escape members.

I hope that I've proved that I helped my teammates out as much as possible short of getting banned. You can't account sit an account that you have support in, otherwise it's a bannable offense. I used my troops and claimed as many vils in the defensive Ops as possible. I saved many vils against Escape, and am happy/proud that I did that. I would do it for any tribe that I was in. If I didn't send troops, then I'd have to sit.

I'd be sitting accounts 20 hours a day due to the owners being inactive. It's a war game. I'd rather spend my time nobling villages and sending tribemates my support, than sitting members 20 hours a day when they don't care about their own accounts and spending hours every day developing tactics to catch spies. It seemed everytime we caught one, Escape would infiltrate and had another. It was a losing game.

I'd rather disband than have 5 spies in a 30 active member tribe. (Yes the other 30 were either being internalled or quarter-active if even that).

I enjoyed my stay at LSD, but it's seen better days. I did a lot for LSD, had we all just sent support and the owners log into their accounts, all of their vils would have been stacked and held up against nukes, rather than having to sit them 20+ hours a day sniping, which is a losing strategy. You don't want those members anyway, right?

If you are a team player, you sit people. Even if you don't think they are going to come back. It's a little thing called "helping the front line". I personally play sat accounts more actively than my own on most worlds I play - purely because it's more fun to fight in a war, than to farm and try to focus on yourself instead of your tribe. But then again, what do I know?

I had support in every account... I would have been banned, I already got warned by the Mod for sitting frontline accounts. Not too many other people were sending support. There was literally nothing else I could do unless Escape wanted to hit clear villages all day long and we rely just on sniping everything and I get no sleep for a week. Which they would eventually just throw nukes with their nobles rather than small escorts, making everything unsnipable. I'm teaching high school students environmental sustainability, I can't sit in front of a computer and play 6 TW accounts at the same time.

I suppose you want me to be banned though... Can we please stop. There's no way I could have sat them, I had support in them ID GET BANNED. They weren't even worth defending though, they quit their own accounts. They were just villages that Escape would eventually eat.

I don't see why we're arguing though. I'm just going to tell you youre right because that's what you want to hear googly knowing full well i couldnt do anymore.

+1. Had we sucked Escape's e-penis more in the Externals, Escape might have attacked another tribe. Instead, we flirted with war and Escape showed that they are better. I can't even play with my w25 mates... They have to do a 'poll' on it, which makes zero sense. I flamed the wrong people on the externals before, but a lot of times its been said what happens on the externals shouldn't doesn't reflect in game.

everyone i recruited outside k74 was because someone else asked me to. You had baron privs, you could have kicked anyone you wanted. So once again, don't go blaming this on me or anyone else - because you COULD have done something about it. But you chose not to. Just like everything else in the tribe.

If you remember, you were the recruiter. In Frogs Leadership posts in the hidden forum, it said you were the recruiter, and that the recruiter holds autonomy in this position. You know very well that the way and who you recruit is final.

Regardless, we made many mistakes. Nearly every new recruit turned out to be a spy [I made that mistake once as well recruiting a Korean that told LaPerf everything]

As Head Recruiter, you could have done something, instead you abandoned us, and provided a test to KM that would ensure that LSD disbands. Good work!

PS: You were even sitting accounts in LSD while you were in ET. Had I started dismissing people in suspect of spying, inactivity, and people being sat by you and others outside + the people that you allowed to leave LSD and join you in ET, we would be down to the few members that are in -JG- plus a few others that are questionable about joining.

What's done is done.

Don't go off and blame her. She saved you guys in K64 for a while and you have no right to claim it was her fault.

You know very well I'm not blaming her. She was the best player in LSD in terms of all around leadership, and amount of sittings that she did.

She cracked under the pressure (I would have cracked long before, she was sitting countless hours) and left LSD in the dark. Without a light, I disbanded. Simple as that. Noone was ready to lead. We had to disband.

I sat everyone I recruited, and I turned many down because of troop counts, village point size, resources farmed, etc. But like I said, they were all sent to me because someone else said "he's good hes been working with me" blah blah. I never once heard you complain to me about anyone i recruited. Unlike I expressed my displeasure with you, baron, and other leaders not doing anything. However I've spent more than enough time on the externals now, and I must go take 5 showers to clean myself up :p I'm done here. What's been done is done. You showed your true colors. My mates know I did my best for them, and I will continue to. GL, GG.

Honestly, that looks like blaming her to me. But maybe I am wrong.

Sorry, Cameron, if my post offended you, I never meant to suggest that you were a dishonourable player. I actually think you're an honourable player put into an impossible situation, where dishonour was the only sensible option. If the players you helped had shown any loyalty to the tribe, it would have been dishonourable to abandon them, but they had no loyalty to their own accounts, or LSD. It seems like you had already discussed this with the decent (successful and honourable) players of LSD, so I see no blame there.
Guess I have to take full blame for allowing Ruzzante in.. Although I'm confused that you said Ancic was the spy, since he is/was the co on that account? Should have done my homework more, and now need to track them down on skype.. Anyway, the point is, that km5r may have been recruitment officer, but she often went off recommendations, and the rest of the leadership stayed well clear of that role. Maybe her job was to ensure everything was perfect, but again I feel like the other members in the tribe depended on her, without giving anything back to either her, or LSD.

Anyway, I would say this is more of a leadership issue than anything else. If a tribe has a strong leader, who everyone believes in, they are more likely to care about the tribe, and their own account. It's the personal loyalties and friendships that bring you back to the sign in page, even when you know that all you will see is 1k incomings. The truth is, that the only players capable of leading, didn't want to, and were forced into the role. They were also too often seen as temporary solutions, both by themselves, and the tribe as a whole.

I know this has all been said, and that therefore this post is boring, but I guess this is more for my benefit. Sorry for the spam!

Dont bring me in to this km5r. I stopped being leader awhile ago and got pulled back into it. People kept asking for me to do stuff, and expected me to do things when really my co should've. He was less active then me. So all duke responsibilities for my account fell back onto me. I just wanted to be a normal member and fight.

I never wanted to lead LSD. I said that when LSD was first made. But my co applied for the baron position. Frogs set us as duke and left. I wanted to drop out of leadership the second I saw frogs was inactive. The only reason I stayed in leadership as long as I did was because of my co.

I'm not sure why you guys keep putting leadership failure problems on me. I dropped out of leadership a long time ago and told everyone that I didn't want to lead anymore. Long before escape declared.
