Time isn't your foe. You don't revolve around time, time revolves around you.
In history there are a few highlights..
Discovering the wheel..
Ceaser and the SPQR.
Napoleon.
Hitler and Stalin.
The thing with these highlights were, these people were simple embodyments of the power that is called "Time". Time doesn't make up for anything. There's yet so much deeper to learn, in fact you can call the fact we think we know History as just a trick from God.
For example the German philosopher Hegel. He thought the ultimate prime in time and life was Prussia, after that, it would stop. It was perfect, it was Paradise. There wasn't a thing in the world, not 1 single highlight that could beat the glory of Prussia. He was wrong...
After this .. psychological, "deep" preach:
There is not a man in the world, who wouldn't trade his life for one anothers.
There is not a single soul who is happy with his luck.
The trick from god about luck and time is that you only notice how lucky you are once you're unlucky
