It was alright, but nothing about it really hit me, other than the sincerity of the lyrics. But considering the genre an exceptional song should have exceptional lyrics, as that is the basis of the song itself. The music existed merely as a background for the story told by the vocals, and wasn't interesting enough to make up for the lack of ...exceptionality? of the lyrics.
