Think of this as a TV programme, i have decided to create a thread were atleast some semi interesting things are discussed. Think of me as your host... Infact lets make it a chat show, lets call it Frankish springer or Oprah Frankish)?

Ok, im going to put few a few questions to hopefully get some of you to say something remotely interesting :icon_wink: .
As you can tell, i like the :icon_wink: smiley very much, so prepare yourselves to be subjected to it often:icon_wink: :icon_wink: :icon_wink: .


Ok, starter question #1:

How long do you think it will take the future best tribe to poke its head and shoulders above the rest and assume the top spot and hold it?

2 months. The top tribes probably have imported their people from other worlds. However, there are no guarantees that they have any position. It will probably take 4 weeks +/- to migrate players over to good positions. After that, 2-3 weeks to dominate their area(s).

2) What tribes (top 20 only, dont care about the rest of you ) do you think are point whoring?

Any in the top 20. The good tribes will be concentrating on building resources, walls and defense.

3) Do you think the top player is point whoring... I do!:

Ohhhh...I don't...those paladins love to live in expensive style.

4) What tribe seems to have the most quality members? (from other worlds):
--Been a bit of an ostrich here. More worried about my own area.

5) How many resources do i get paid for doing this?

Oh...over all the threads that I've read, I get the impression that you have infinite resources. So, how can you add to that?

1. To answer your question, I believe that we can't look at it as a calender based system of determining when we know who will be the dominate tribe. We have to wait until a war in which one side shows talents and coordination above all others.

2. Looking at the rankings list, these tribes may be potential point whores:

3. During the time I'm writing this the top player is HIMeSakurA. She (I suspect a she) has some prior experience in this game but I believe she is slightly point whoring out of lack of experience. I predict she will maintian a spot in the top hundreds' for a prolonged period (months).

4. Smoker and omni seem like good tribes. Smoker has good leadership and the players tend to be of high quality.

Omni is composed of alot of w1 vets, and top ranked players in other servers. Note however that omni may have top ranked players from server 1 (same speed as 5) but has none from the other server with the same speed (server 3). This is just a small variable but alongside with the new system, they may have adapting troubles. I see two things as could happen, tribes could allow them to grow and become powerful like TW in w1 or realize that they are to much of a threat and must be destroyed before they become to strong. I personally would not like to stand against them if they are allowed to expand, because they will then be unstoppable. The future of them is dependent on the talent and guts of the tribes around them.

Ok, i picked the two most important answers Mr junkmonger, Our studio audience didnt seem to be totally in agreement to number 2!

Number 1, i think you have it spot on really. But i think by about a month from now the best tribes will truly show thier quality.

To number 1, i disagree SLIGHTLY, most tribes in there ARE point whoring. But i dont think Omni and Lotd are. They both seem to have respectable experienced members (esspecially Omni) from the other worlds. They would know better than to point whore.
And no, you shouldnt be concentrating soley on defence at all, you need to come out of the blocks with a farming force aswell, usually players with alot of points farm regularaly as with farm squads you can bring in 2/3/4/5 times your resources gained from resource mines.

I will admit, i quite enjoyed reading your post. Alot of sense made there indeed...

I do disagree slightly with your comment about the rank1 player though...
At this piont, with building the right things that should be an impossible figure to be at. Dont get me wrong, im not pointing the finger to any high ranked player, just one at such a ridiculous point total so early int he game.

Even with lucious famrs surrounding them they shouldnt be at that point.

Turk tribes, RO tribes, TUF tribes.

And for the record:
Dragon Army, D.A., is not a point whore tribe. We've got an experienced base of players, and are using them to train newer, less experienced players to have talent. We're just really good at farming. We've gotten... 3 threats?... of war from different tribes because of our farming.

Well, Omni seems like it may be a solid tribe, but OA of W4 has split into 3 or 4 tribes, and OA is a collection of all the bests that play W4. We've all had the chance to learn from each other, and now, we're putting what we've learned from each other to work. DFB, LotD, Os, and D.A. are tribes to watch.

How many resources do i get paid for doing this?

However many you can farm from the abandoneds around you. I know, I'm so generous. :lol:

Response to frankish:
I looked at himesakura's area and she has 11 different possible farms, most are above 100 points. Myself personally had over 200 troops coming out of protection and it is quite possible that if all himesakura focused on was resource providers the first few days, she could have had 200+ troops and over the past days gotten over 300+ and be pulling massive amounts of resources due to farming.
As I said, I believe she is point whoring but not to a high degree.

You will find that the leaders of D.A. are very experienced.

Ender_wiggin is one of my co-Dukes in world three and he is a great leader. Before you bad mouth players and their tribes maybe you should do a little research.

As some say, if you do the same thing as everyone else, you'll get the same results as everyone else. I'm working on some new approaches myself. So pleased would be more related from what I learn through this round, Frankish. The advertisements for Omni and Lotd are noted.

I think that we can work in reverse of your other shows about how well tribes are doing based on point vs player distributions and talk about the Oinker Index. This would be a reflection of how much point whoring would be going on this early. Of course, it is assumed that a high concentration of points this early indicates that players are going for the new buildings or that dreamy new paladin. As it now stands, here are the top 10:

In relative terms, the higher the index, the more higher point buildings will be located in the average village. Sorry, Frankish, unless I'm mistaken, seems like LotD needs to go on a diet. Omni is respectable, but I think we can safely say that they are only building to their immediate needs. However, It looks like the leanest tribes are RO-F and Ori.

No, the paladin at this point is a good unit at the begining stages, an extremely good farming tool and good in defence. Worth the resources if you ask me (not right at the start when people first started building mind you).
