Here we have Gogod, loyal and steadfast warrior of SCIR0S. Whilst he may not always be aware of the inner-workings of his tribe, he will always be aware of the inner-workings of his heart. From what little I had witnessed of Gogod, he appeared to have a colourful and bubbly personality. This interview is testimony to this theory, and I had a great deal of fun conversing with my newfound friend. Truly, he is an asset to SCIR0S.
Here I present the interview. I hope you all enjoy it =D

Hi! =D
gogod says:
greetings Kustard its a pleasure to be here
Kustard King says:
And it's a pleasure to be interviewing you. From what I can gather, you seem to have quite a bubbly personality.
Such a personality is surely a benefit to your tribe, and hopefully it will be reflected in this interview and onto the public forums.
gogod says:
well, I think TW is the definitive game for someone to show their true colors outside the box. I mean it is quite time consuming and limited in its gaming options so you go on about making a profile, chatting in the forums, creating an icon of yourself. I am generally a quiet and happy person and I like to make people laugh. Its so few things people can laugh about these days
so hopefully laughing with me or at me is essentially a good thing. Hopefully less people will laugh "at" me however lol
Kustard King says:
Heh, I can agree with you there. Tribal Wars is an odd game, because you do very little, but you're compelled to play on it all the time just incase something happens. In such circumstances, it's no wonder people spend a lot of time with the community.
I imagine that you've made many friends from your time on this game.
gogod says:
Well I certainly did. I started the game with some fellow friends who soon got busted (its such a tricky life until you get that second village). Then I met a guy named Alinwarlord who was a very aggressive player and supported me a lot back in the first days of the game. However my very best friend, and partner is Daftwager with whom we have gone hand in hand from like 2007 or so.
We talk by in game mail daily and we have shared some good and bad RL moments too. I can safely say I feel Daftwager as a good friend and not just an internet fellow player. I know it may sound weird but a human is a human and a human contact remains that even through a pc. Heads up the internet is conquering everything
I consider most of the older members in SCI good friends. Funnily enough however, in two or more years in game I didn't get a chance to meet someone outside SCI.
Kustard King says:
I'm glad you've found such good friends from playing online. Would you say that they make the playing experience all the more enjoyable?
gogod says:
I cannot say YES to that hahahaha. No sometimes they can be demanding. I guess that is something that grows in you as the game evolves. However, I can safely say that removing my online friends from this game would definitely remove me from the game. SO! If anyone out there hates me and wants me out of the game you must start nuking everyone in SCI because thats the reason I am still playing.
Oh let me clarify this bit. I am not playing to see everyone in SCI nuked hahahaha I mean that friends in SCI keep me going
Kustard King says:
Heheheh... You might be the only one who isn't still playing to see SCI nuked. The SCI family take a hell of a beating on the public forums, as I'm sure you've noticed.
gogod says:
Aha now we are getting to some interesting questions Well I must admit we are not exactly loved now are we. However, the beating in forums is quite unfair, we are a very sweet bunch of huggable people. Ok maybe not I mean I don't know if Blub is huggable I have seen pictures ^^. On a more serious note: The PnP of World 5 is awesome and fierce at the same time. There are some really good pnpers
I mean I remember once I was reading a thread and it was so persuasive that for a moment I kinda felt like: SCI is disbanding in 10 particle tribes, half the council is traitors, we have lost 20K villages in the last 12 hours...I was about to cry to be honest
Ok didn't hit serious. Third try: We got good PnP in this world. SCI could improve in the PnP but I think most of us are deterred from the mere fact that opinions cause flamefests. This is also a reason why I don't go public that often. Nothing to say really I let people judge me by my stats. The same way I gauge others in game.
Kustard King says:
Inside of SCIR0S, you might be a sweet bunch of huggable people (Even Blub, who I believe would be so much happier if he had a good squeeze now and then), however the way that SCI have presented themselves to other tribes has had an ill-effect. Do you think that anything that has been said on the forums about SCIR0S, or the family as a whole, is at least partially true?
gogod says:
Well, you got me unprepared now. I generally think that smoke equals fire. However, the politics of this world go a long way further back from what one would imagine when reading a story. There is a reason behind everything that happens. We have been accused of fighting the wars we can win. Thats not true. SCIR0S was always in favor of expanding. Thats what any tribe that wants to survive must do.
Now as you know we have fought a long fruitless (for both sides) war with LFKD. This war went on for almost a year resulting in scratches for both of us and boredom for both of us. Two good tribes fighting always ends up stale. That is not to say that R2 was not a good tribe and got pwned quite the opposite. They have quite a lot of good active players and they give us a run for our money and we do the same for them I like to believe.
Now in relation to other stuff being said about SCI; I intervened in the forum before about "cheating" accusations and I will say it again with my hand on my heart: I firmly believe that no SCI would ever knowingly break any in-game rules. That being said I believe that some members could have acted recklessly in terms of compromising their account security and well being for what they thought would benefit the tribe. As someone who reads laws for a living I can safely tell you that TW rules are not entirely clear and this is partly due to the fact that they were written and re-written and re-re-written with views of the game evolution. Obviously I refer to the account sitting rules which can get you banned for simple mistakes anyone could make.
Kustard King says:
SCIR0S recently allied themselves with PKs. The reasoning for this is, for the most part, unclear. Nevertheless, PKs has been getting bashed over this repeatedly for some time now. If possible, could you shed some light on the situation?
gogod says:
I am really not the person to ask that mate. I must admit that I play TW with the "lights shut" meaning, I open the map and look at the dots. If they are red I consider them bad dots if they are purple I consider them strange dots, if they are light blue or blue I consider them good dots. I really don't know what the deal with PKs is (Ask Kralle how many times I went for a visit and his doormen busted me)
That being said, I respect all decisions made by my tribe. I must also add that I am always impersonal with the people who I attack or they attack me. You won't see me sending hate mails no sir. I don't reply to hate mails either, although I must say the people who play the game now are very very civil. Two years ago nuking someone successfully would mean 2-3 days of reading whine posts and threats that could even be considered remotely pornographic if you know what I mean.
I am sorry, I truly can't shed much light into the tunnel for you. I am a passenger on a plane and right now the sign reads "Fasten your sitbelts" so I just look outside the window (map) and see dots of random colors thats all
Kustard King says:
Hah, that's fine. Perhaps something you could shed some light on, though....... According to your profile you're 101 years old, live with your anger management therapist, and you love grumpy old men. How did things come to be like this?
And of course, I bring these things to everyones attention because your cruel profile tricked me into scrolling all the way to the bottom.
gogod says:
Well I am not really 101 years old, I do it for the girls they like young men As for the profile in general. It all started with a quote that I still have up front. Then some loved one passed away and I thought it would be nice to have a song he loved in my profile (facebook didn't exist back then or I would have it on a wall)
As for the anger management therapist...I have quit smoking some time ago That makes me go emo plenty of times everyday. If someone ever reads this: PLEASE NEVER START TO SMOKE. Seriously!! Its a terrible habit as I find out every day now.
By the way that picture in my profile...You guessed it its NOT me
Kustard King says:
It's NOT you? Damn... I was a little smitten for a moment there
gogod says:
Heeeeeeeeeeeey don't use akward english words!!!!!!!! What does "smitten" mean
Kustard King says:
Moving on swiftly...
Who would you say has been your toughest enemy so far?
gogod says:
Toughest enemy...
I think the toughest one so far has been Kralle for the size and support. And I think the most fearsome in terms of size and proximity was MrsPremise of DFB. Kralle was always super defended I mean you couldn't really get to him and he wouldn't dodge he was a baller.
MrsPremise on the other hand was like twice my size and most of her villages were in 35min noble time from mine. We played cat and dog for almost a year and I spent every day of my game during that time preparing for a massive assault of MrsP. against me. In the end, we took her out in a fantastic assault which lasted 2 weeks and gave us the very first edge in the LFKD war which had started with some bad omens for us.
As for the 2009 battles so far: I think there are some relatively small players that can give you a hard time if they play with passion. That is not to say that the big players won't but ok what you want me to say that TSE and 1337 and VVV have some tough cookies to break? Ofc they do. The good thing about the game at this point is that everyone who plays now is more or less dedicated. You cannot underestimate them or be casual or you will hurt.
Kustard King says:
Soooooooo...... Your village names... They're, um, what's the word?........ Imaginitive =/
gogod says:
Thats my biggest fun in the game actually. I started naming my villages capes because of a movie I happened to be watching the night I started to play TW. No need to guess I was watching "Cape Fear" lolz. From then on I decided to keep the capes going. However I also had the need to entertain myself and the people around me so I started coming up with names. Every name got a point be it something I saw/thought/ate/felt/listened. My "capes" are not simply villages they represent stages of my every day life. I believe that the most fun part of this game is names of villages. I hate people who name them the same or put numbers. Villages are like an empty canvas waiting to be painted. Don't paint phone numbers please.
Oh by the way? DON'T you dare ask me what was happening when I named a village "Cape of Breaking Wind" hahahahhaha
Kustard King says:
It was the "Cape of Barbie Ambition" that I was most concerned about, actually O_O
Barbie Abduction though... I can agree with that. Rawr! ;D
gogod says:
Its far less kinky than you think
In my in-game slank, which I believe became an official tribe wording "Barbie" = Barbarian village. Ofc there is always my joke about a new game "Barbie online" which many many tribemates asked me in private how to subscribe to but generally A barbie = a barbarian village. Or a barbie ^^ who knows.
There I am handing out some SCIR0S dirty laundry
Kustard King says:
Oooooohhhhhh......... I get it now. Barbarian villages....... Yeah, that's a little more innocent that what I was thinking O_O
gogod says:
What can I say I am full of purity lol
Kustard King / Gaembesh says:
Yeeeeeeeeah....... Anyway, do you ever see yourself going all the way in World 5, and being the last player standing?
gogod says:
Well, I do not intend to leave the game any time soon and that even includes waking up to see a gazillion nukes heading my way. This is not to say that I particularly enjoy the responsibilities of getting bigger and spending even more time in the game. I must say however that leaving the game creates problems for the people you supposedly care about so I won't willingly leave soon.
That being said I always wonder what will happen if for some terrible reason I am unable to log in and I am considered AWOL. I have seen people who were active leave with no trace and I must admit that it makes me wonder if something terrible went in their way.
I think the least someone can do in this game is say "I am well and leaving goodbye" if they intend to go. I mean its real people man if someone plays everyday for ages and then one day vanishes in thin air ? Thats why I say: Be considerate we all care
Good now you must think I am a psycho carebear who fancies barbie and pink underwear
Well to be honest it describes me quite good hahahahahahahhaaa
Kustard King says:
When was the pink underwear mentioned? D=
gogod says:
Ehmmmm it wasn't? :O me and my big mouth >.<
Kustard King says:
=S
gogod says:
I think the general forum needs pink.
Even if this is just by reference to undies rofl
Kustard King says:
I feel sorry to the poor readers of this interview now...
gogod says:
I don't think anyone but SCIs will read this so you should be happy Their eyes will hurt for ages
Kustard King says:
According to TW-Stats (Though, they can be a bit iffy) you've been in SCIR0S since the very start. Is this right?
gogod says:
I think I was one of the founding members yes however I only became a council member much much later. But ye generally I have been there since like 2007 early (like 1-2 months into the game). Mind you I am relatively old player in the W5 also. I mean I remember Ronaldinho being #1 back in the days if that can work for how long ago I was here.
Kustard King says:
Oh yes, I remember Ronaldinho as #1. Turned out to be just another point whore, lol.
Wow... So, you've been in SCIR0S all this time. Are there any changes that have been made up to this point that you've particularly liked/disliked?
gogod says:
A lot of good friends left the game. This was a change I disliked. The tribe has evolved into a bunch of ballers who are a closed fist and support each other and work together. Thats a change that I lived to see and am happy about.
That is not to say we was numpties. But we was always a more casual tribe by means of taking care of business. Bunch of world wars though certainly makes you a hardened crimin....eeeeeeeeeer veteran
Kustard King says:
Yes... Veterans.......
gogod says:
Well look I will change the V and the A from the word: Beteruns
Thats why I love English
You can manipulate it so nicely to make new meanings and stuff
Kustard King says:
Hah! So true ;D
Anywho, before we bring things to a close, I'd like to ask you one final question. I'll be asking this to everyone from now on, as it rounds things off nicely ;D
gogod says:
ok feel free
Kustard King says:
Describe to me what you believe are the characteristics of a perfect player.
gogod says:
The perfect player...
The perfect player is one who doesn't play to prove anything my friend Play to win the game not to win respect or friends or money or whatever people win from playing games. The love of the game is what makes the perfect player. If you watch tennis I think the example of Federrer is the best: "I play because I love tennis". A simple quote yet so important for a grand slam champion with a new wor
ld record of 15 titles.
To wrap it up for TW: The perfect TW player is aggressive and silent.. Its a war game my friend. Play war but keep the war on the map and in the PnP forum. Don't take it personal don't become personal.
Kustard King says:
Insightful words from an insightful person. Thank you for your time, Gogod. I hope you enjoyed yourself ;D
gogod says:
It was a real honor to be offered the chance to express my views Please allow me to extend my thanks by renaming one of my villages to "Cape of Kustard King" . I think you deserve it
Kustard King says:
Oh, my =$
Thanks =D
Here I present the interview. I hope you all enjoy it =D
