thats right, i left a couple times for a few months here and there, i mean regardless i was going out on fridays and coming back monday most of the time without a sitter since mikeys was sitting rediculous amounts of villages so i never had a problem socializing anyway, but now i have sooo much time to do loads of stuff, even started an NVQ, i DO actually have more time to have a decent chatw ith peopkle over a pint rather than the only time was weekend which was madness the music is so loud and i never learned how to lip read lol

I think if you can't find something to do with yourself after this game, then you really have some problems, and i urge you to start exploring other things, theres so many things out there to do meet new people and enjoy life, don't be scared to try nothing, remember you have 1 life and thats it, no time to be scared :)

What if you're a cat? In which case you have 9 lives? Then what would you suggest? :icon_wink:

well yeah without tw you have more time...but like said, 3 years is 3 years, and you get to know people. i want to quit, but there is no easy way to do that, lol, pressing delete will only harm my members, my firends....
anyways, at 26th of september, my amateur boxing league in germany begins, that will be time to quit, but before i go , i have to make few enemies quit(acctually two :p ) :)

ps. if TW took control of your free time, then you didnt pass the test for this game...kif you ask me, it was never ment to spend so much time on, like some do..lol...

anyways, blue you got it right, this game nails the spot, but like a girl, each has the "spots" in diffrent part :p :D

Even though this world has nothing relevant other than the mod playing in W25, I feel I am obliged to post in this thread.

I expect life after tw to be spending time at animal shelters or free clinics instead of playing games. Or, even working a second job at mcdonalds or something. I most certainly wouldn't let all my time go to waste by doing something like sitting around and watching tv.

those "spots" are commonly called "syphilis" - and if you're :ping and :Ding them then you probably have syphilis too

i do know that the four weeks or so i spent away from the game were wonderful. yet i still succumbed to the pressure to come back :icon_neutral:.

The hard part is breaking off of w2. It is like taking a nail and driving it into your hand sometimes.... The need to see how things are doing, and what battles are raging and how the lines are moving back and forth... lol

Once you are able to leave w2 then it is slightly easier to leave the game, or at least start a small account on a newer world and it doesn't take you all day to accomplish stuff on there. :icon_razz:

But once you break from the game with no regrets or anything you can actually enjoy life. First 2 times I quit, I quit because of personal reasons now I quit because I wanted to do it and ohh well I AM enjoying life.

Can you not enjoy life with TW?

If TW stays as a hobby, then aye. When it becomes a chore and it's taking up alot of free time, it's then TW is having a negative effect...

QFT. (Yes I'm a random poster)

I have already planned to quit in a few weeks and have realised that what will I do with my time. As I'm but 14 you could say TW has done more to me (especially mentally) to me - its probably only making things harder for me. I'm honestly not sure what I'll do with my time. Considering I've changed what content I like, its really concerning what I'll do with my time. I'll probably put it into school work, more sleep instead of living a sleep deprived life, my xbox 360 and social life. But the big problem is what I'll do with my weekends and holidays. >.>

I think its seriously the forums and the frills with that (skype, the odd premade etc.) which are the hard habit to get rid of. If I wanted to I would more than happily delete all my IG accounts tomorrow morning. (If you are all wondering when I quit I'm following most of jamm's guide, I tried at Christmas time and needless to say it was the biggest retirement fail. Ever ).

I myself have tried to quit when I was 15 or 16. After playing the game for 2-3 years, you meet many people. Some have negative effects, though most have positive effects on your life. Their views on different things make you think, where they are from makes you wonder about other places in the world.

One major reason I still play is because I wish to keep in contact with these people. That, and i'm becoming interested in the game again, and finding it fun. After a day at school and an hour or two of homework, I like to do something I enjoy so I play TW. It relieves some stress, and makes boring nights, well a little les boring ;)

I quitted TW last year and stop playing the game 3 or 4 months, but this game is like an addiction so i'm back :).

I havent quit for 2 reasons.

1. I have meet some great people who i still want to keep talking to.
2. I think i'm an 'important' player for my tribe and his allies in this war, so wont be fair to just give up and let them die or something, instead of helping them.

I kinda feel like this too. After a while its more the people you meet. Its more actually socialising with people than those long nights doing co-ordinates and such.

@jimmyloyola -> You'd be surprised. My life prior to TW was incredibly busy, and really as long as you keep your life busy enough you can quite easily stay away from TW (this is providing you do something like following jamm's guide). Staying in contact with 90% of your old friends over skype is a bad way to quit, as inevitably you will be enticed by someone's premade and before you know it you got control of a 2 million point account in W34 or something.

If u make life busy sometimes you wont. But when you leave something which u really dont want to leave there will be a little pain. And thought of someday returning will always reamin. Thats the magic of this game. Got to quit without any regrets

I've kept in contact with TW buddies, albeit inactively, you just have to have a bit of a backbone and not be afraid to say no to returning.

i think he was referring to various spots or 'parts' of the female body which stimulate them, you can onyl find these by touch and looking for their reactions, which is a lovely thing to do.

to sebco, yes you can play this game and have a evry active social life, i did :)

Agreed with DC, it's hard when you want to do something and stop, like smoking, drinking etc, but when you really don't care either way, it's easy to stop and thats it, most of the people who came back just wern't ready to quit yet.

Good luck with the boxing Arthas, such a great sport :)

Generally with people quitting its because RL gets busy and stuff. Then life dies down, they come back and that's it. I personally know that if I go 'only the forums' or 'occasionally on skype' there is a very good chance I will also go back in game. Also, as of late I also find if anything the forums and skype are what keeps me up late rather than in-game activities.

And having an active social life can end up being quite hard, especially if you are as much as a control freak as me :icon_biggrin:
