If the guy sends and attack within his own church area and sends it out of it, is it still religious? Or, when I send an attack out of my church radius, is it still religious?

No if the attack isnt within your church radius then ur guys wont be religious

i had a hard time with this also. when attacking for your troops to be religions the village attacking must be religious.
when defending it only matters in the village under attack is religios if there are forin troops in that village and the village is religios then the forin troops are religios

if ye send an attack FROM a village dat is within yer church radius (has a belief 1 which ye can see under troops in village overview) then it does nay matter where ye attack they will always be religious be yer target outside or inside yer church it does nay matter.
HOWEVER, if ye are sending SUPPORT then da village ye are supporting has to be inside yer church radius, unless ye are supportin a tribe member, then da village yer supporting has to be inside his radius.
