I think clan was better because it is more like a tribe. And alliance is already used in the game so it sounds like a family tribe calling it an alliance.

Clan does sound weird since this is "Tribal Wars" and just dosen't feel right. I don't know what it is since some games do use clan but, whenever someone refers to a tribe as a clan or allience or whatever it just irritates me:icon_cool:

i am sorry about puting in the wrong word, as i am used to games that use the term of alliance, also i'm portuguese so its harder to build sentences.:icon_neutral:

altough i prefer the term alliance, i shall change it to clan.:icon_wink:
