what happens if every play picks the same direction? ive often wondered about this

You get something like W16 where you have 5 free spaces for 1 village in the south.

how do you know where you'll start?

Once in a blue moon they allow us to pick our locations.

So when you pick join its going to let you pick from certain directions.

you don't.

You end up some place randomly in the direction you pick.

SW SE
