agree with irish, offense trumps defense...that is you can't go around nobling very effectively with your defense...however you can go around defending your villages effectively with your offense...namely sniping and recapping.

That doesn't mean having defense is bad...just that offensive players are more likely to succeed seeing as they are taking villages not defending them :icon_razz:

All players should always have some defense in their first village.

And 90% of statistics are made up on the spot :icon_biggrin:

Not really, you can just cross reference the # of hc in a world at the 1 village stage with the # of players:icon_eek: Its a lot less that .01% that can do you what you said :) I just didnt feel like adding the nines

Pretty good Sam, but long-winded in some places though. Could put spoilers in for optional things and such.

If you see there are a few active players in your area, then consider building using some Swords, and spike some villages. Always send your paladin with the swords if you are spiking, otherwise they will likely Die.
Example:

Simulator:
Attacker Units: 20 spears 1 paladin
Losses: 20 spears

Defender Units: 10 swords
Losses: 10 swords

Without the paladin as well, you lose all of your swords, and his paladin is able to escape.
However, if you include your paladin with the swords, then:

Simulator:
Attacker Units: 20 spears 1 paladin
Losses: 20 spears 1 paladin

Defender Units: 10 swords 1 paladin
Losses: 4 swords

As you can see, the paladin has a great effect. We only lost 4 swords this time, and the enemy paladin was killed too. A lot of players do not use spiking very much, but it is a very effective way of keeping the other players growth in your area to a minimum.

Stuff like that^,

The content seems to be correct as far as I'm aware.

thought i'd ask a few questions in regards to speed.
1. how do you store reports for another round to show proof and not just texts.
2. about round 3,what is a cluster round?(i know what a cluster is just don't know what it refers to in speed.)
3. where is the best thread to get more information on speed?

this was my last build before i decided to get another village:

Village Headquarters 15
Barracks 5
Stable 3
Workshop 2
Smithy 12
Statue 1
Rally Point 1
Wood 15
Clay 10
Iron 10
Farm 22(i think can't remember.)
Warehouse 4
Hiding place 10
Wall 11

troops can't remember properly so these are as accurate as i remember.
400 spears
350 swords
600 axes
215 scouts
75 light cavalry
100 rams
20 catapults
