Hm your LA is pretty good, I think you'd atleast become 2d if not first in the LAOFT ;) - if you had joined.

edit no8 and put mirrored text behind original text and/or rasterize mirrored text and delete part of "p" that make text look bad.
others are good.

Exactly how did you do the text of .9?

Number 1 and 2 are amaaaaaaazing- lighting is great in both, and the graphics in number 2 looks like its a proper photo.

Do you use gimp?

Nope, I don't use GIMP :/

Basically, it is the text, with layer styles on it (Drop shadow, Inner Glow, Outer Glow and Gradient Overlay) With different settings.. I would go into it more...but it might be different in GIMP :)

Only thing I think I'd change with your work is the border size. For the larger ones I think this is the right size for your border style.

The borders is one of the two things i have been meaning to work on (that and text :))

Still waiting for you to get your PS so I can see how you do ;)
