Swords ARE good for spiking but I personally find them useless at this point. Major growth stoppers....

I think this unequal hauls happans if the resource bonus village is going to get dry. For example 19 64 17 in clay bonus village means, that next farming will bring less haul, then the maximum carry capacity. Farm is going to run out of ressources...
