I had a conversation earlier with Schlomzi, regarding his great TW resume. This is a synopis of it:

So, I decided to ask someone about Shlomzi's accomplishments on TW. Pervis, what do you think of Shlomzi has accomplished on W36, and can you comment on his past?





Before commenting further, let me just say that if you are having personal issues, then you have my best wishes.

That being said, the reason for the downfall of Jedi can most likely be attributed to one person. There was a point where Chaos was a viable factor on K55, and it was my intention to work with Jedi to make that vision a reality. But the problem turned out that Schlomzi's ego was so inflated that every conversation had me biting my tongue to keep from laughing at him. In the end, I just ignored him, as I'd rather my tribe went down in flames than to have to subject myself to another conversation with the greatest Tribal Leader (and player) ever to log into our beloved .net. Just wasn't worth it. And, I'm guessing I'm not the only one that feels this way.

In the end, your ego got you. Now, you can bow out anyway you want. You can use any excuse you'd like. My advice to you is to step up and take responsibility. Chaos failed for one reason. Me. That's my responsibility as a leader. Now, why did Jedi fail?

I agree with this post. The question now is, will Willovain follow the same path with Evil? :icon_neutral:

Which brings up another point, that goes with my (above) post, it's great to have a "willovain" in every world, but should that "willovain" be a tribe leader? :icon_eek:

I disagree. All leaders have to make stuff up at some point. They both seem to be sending lies out in all directions...Which is not quite what I would call awesome leadership.

I say I disagree because I've been part of Shlom's stories in full flow, which was actually a pleasure to be involved in. He's good at lies. Way better than anything I've seen Willo doing. The secret of being a good leader is to be (slightly) discrete with lies. Willo is definitely not this. Shlomzi, in this world, also hasn't been fantastic...But hey, I'm judging on what I've seen of these two overall...Not just from this world.

I would have to say, I'm not sure about the whole lies issue. I think they are important for twisting things to your favour, but then again I haven't seen a great deal of lies from Willo, so it's hard for me to comment.

If we're talking about PnP'ing, I have always found Willo to make more sense. He picks the holes in arguments without repeating himself. Slom just picks out stupid things and repeats them because he has no logical response in most cases. Not to mention the fact that Slom contradicts himself too often.

If we're talking about leadership, I couldn't comment on Slom as I have never been under his leadership. Having said that, I have friends under his leadership, and I hear quiete alot from them I have however been led by Willo, and he is a far greater leader than he is player.

Anyway...Lies are an important part of PnP, and probably the hardest to master. You gotta twist the truth enough to get people in your favour, without people realising what you're doing. Extremely tricky to get the balance right, and I think it's safe to say that both of these two have taken it a bit too far on this ocasion. I've never been led by Willo, so won't comment on him, but Shlom is definitely a competant leader, despite what some people say, and has led many successful tribes in his time...

So, I decided to ask someone about Shlomzi's accomplishments on TW. Pervis, what do you think of Shlomzi has accomplished on W36, and can you comment on his past?

I'm sure after what must by now be a year and more of correspondence you know i dislike frills, lacework and polite euphemisms.

For my part I've never thought a person's character failings should be any more exempt from criticism than his in game ones.

What I think Schlomzi did here was that he saw something in the news about two teenagers in Ireland dying in a tragic car crash and decided that it would be the perfect excuse with which to cover yet another failure of his in TW terms.

I don't think he even knew the victims and if he did, I doubt he was friends with them. These are haunches, im not sure of them.

What I am sure of, is that Schlomzi did not quit W36 because of his grief at this car crash. What I am sure of, is that Schlomzi is not grieving at all.

And I'll tell you my reasons why.

• Someone suffering from personal tragedy close to home will not have time or energy or even care enough to get on an online forum to try and justify his absence to anonymous internet people who he dislikes and who dislike him. If my friend or relative died (God forbid) I'd could give a **** less about whether people I'd never meet were accusing me of being a quitter in an online game. It just wouldn't be important to me. Schlomzi however is trying his best to convince us that he is a grieving friend who is shattered by this tragedy and we should respect that.
• Schlomzi is in a jovial mood on skype joking around with people "his daily porn session" and other trivialities. Not the sing of someone grieving to the extent that he had to quit a server for no other reason than his personal shock and sorrow.
• Schlomzi plans to actively play W37 under his -hobgoblin- account and was discussing his plans for early nobling on that server several hours after he posted those pictures and links on this thread. Again, it seems that his "grief" only causes him to quit W36 where he failed miserably and not W37.

Skype transcripts are available to anybody who does not wish to accept my points at face value. But I don't want to post them for the public viewing at the moment (without permission of the people who gave me those transcripts).

On the issue of RL taking a person away from TW, I was not so very long ago forced to leave both the servers I played at the time due to a freaking civil war in my country (BDR mutiny in Bangladesh, documented on CNN, BBC, etc) that started 2 days after I was released from a hospital. I know exactly how much precedence RL takes but then again, it was months before my reasons for quitting at the time was aired publicly (and discreetly at that) though the players close to me were well aware.

Call me a sadist or someone with a personal issue if you will, I'm just calling bullshit where I sense bullshit (as you've seen me do with so many other people, lt). And Schlomzi's excuses are of garbage. As i've said before in this thread, using a car crash from the news to avoid responsibility for your own shortcomings is quite despicable. If Im wrong then I apologize, but I don't think I am.

And to answer your question. What has he achieved in W36 ? Nothing. He made himself a well known habitual liar and a laughingstock. Hes done so before and will do so again.
