To make a map use this site:

As you can see in the options you can display villages of various points starting with the smallest size you want to display just layer then. I use Gimp for all my Map work.

Here's a quick map, shows all barbarians 8.5k and up.
I'll have to play with it a bit more to figure out how to show three different types of barbs at once. Busa, do I need Gimp for that?

You need to make layers to show them on top of each other.

For that you need some image edit prog I use Gimp as its free.

Have a read of the forum guides there are a few on how to make a layered map.
