Hrothgar was dismissed because he went Red. Wasn't even aware you were attacking him, but it makes sense since Chess no doubt finds all their targets based on the ease of capture and best way to inflate their stats.

And he was not reinvited, in fact since the start of the world i think i've only reinvited one player that was removed for inactivity.

Also would you people stop using the "month" time frame, its not accurate, you dont count random village noblements as war stats. The war started on the 27th, do a conquers breakdown since then and you'll see they are anything but impressive.

And as the declaree's by 3 tribes, its not up to NERD to prove we can eliminate all of Chess, our job is to stymee and ultimately survive the siege. Whether we Sortie from our gates to finish Chess off as their armies break against our walls is entirely optional and independent of the goals of this war.​

I find it quite interesting actually.

It's usually not smart to post collectively on behalf of the community, as it's so easy to prove wrong. Thus my first sentence was to prove the point. :icon_wink:

I would, but saying "I and several other forum members do not want to hear your arguments here" somehow did not have the same effect in my head.
Wouldn't you agree, no matter how interesting you find it, "TOP 20 Tribes (Discuss)" is not the thread to be having this argument? Sure they are both Top 20, but they have also had many threads as of yet dedicated to the same argument. I am sure it would be just as interesting to you in those threads.

still, i don't see any third parties (not taking part in the argument) saying that they want to see it continue. (and if there is anyone out there that actually wants to see their little fight in every single forum topic, then please post).
and in my opinion, because of your PNP against chess, i include you as an active participant the chess/nerd argument. therefore i do not believe that most of your arguments are unbiased.

I don't care if you believe it or not, to be honest. I don't pick one side and stick to it, I've supported both Chess and NERD arguments and pointed out flaws in both. If I was biased I wouldn't do that - I'd support one and point out flaws of the other.

i will reiterate. you are "an active participant the chess/nerd argument."
therefore, in my opinion, of course you would find the argument interesting. however, the rest of TW externals who is not in chess/nerd, and are not participating in this conversation, have- for the most part- had enough.

i don't care if you stick to your 5 other forum topics. but just don't taint the top 20 discussion as well!!!
edit: sorry, i missed one. theres 6 topics that discuss nerd/chess starting with their opening post. (but i didn't bother looking through others, to see how many times the arguments started after the first post).

this isn't even about the argument continuing, it's about you guys ruining the fun for everyone else by having to bring your pointless conversation into every single topic that you possibly could.
to chess/nerd: the war won't be won by talking. it will be won by nobling.

I kind of understand Toby and pimp fairy's feeling about the whole NERD vs. Chess/.:I:. issue. It tends to get into every thread. But in my defence, I would like to point out that I (and other NERDS) almost always post in response to Sasux, his people or hanger ons, who have a way bigger presence on the forums. So if anything, complaints should be directed at Sasux and ilk, not us. But that would be expecting too much of you.

Shlomzi, have to say is one of the very few fairminded and objective posters on these forums. Wish there were more like you.

@ idle Bunneh. Blah, blah, blah. Another Sasux clone, who does not even have the originality to come up with a novel arguement. Your stats do not include .:I:.. Why? Sasux also prefers to ignore the same aspect. We are fighting Chess & .:I:.. So your stats should include .:I:..

I will direct at both sides, as both sides are posting. You make the choice to respond, so that does not mean you aren't guilty.

I really should do one of these. I'll do a few and if I get bored, meh, I'll stop.

Chess: Good members, decent leader. I do think that their spread will be a major disadvantage to them, and I do believe that their hype and so on that they did (quite rightly) deserve at the start of the world is gone as they have lost pretty much all their "great" original members, and have a lot of new people, just like most other tribes.

I, personally, view them not as the best tribe, but one of them. I'd say there are a few tribes that would equal them, to be honest. I think that Sasuke's arrogance (yes, hypocritical of me I know) will prove a major disadvantage to them also. I also firmly believe that Chess got to where it has because of it's members, not because of the leadership. However, that is simply my view.

1nS4n3: Phwoah. What can I say. Their leaders are abrasive and to the point, blunt - and I love it. No dancing around or going around in circles with these lot. I have the utmost respect for this tribe (and their leaders) and I personally believe that their spread will be a huge boost to them in the future and they certainly have the quality to stay around for a long time.

It will be interesting to see who they decide to war next.

RBL: I've discovered some things over the past few days that have changed my opinion of them - a lot. I thought of them as a great tribe and great leader, but stuff such as people claiming Maurice is the most qualified, experienced and skilled leader in World 37 makes me laugh. No-one can make that claim yet.

I also believe that they have good members and a decent spread, but whether they decide to go through with what they have planned or not will determine what happens to them in the future, I believe.

Ginger: Meh, I'll try to stay unbiased as possible. We have a lot of new players, granted. We have a lot of players who wouldn't be classed as "good". However, we do have a nice, good spread. We have three continents under our belt. We have an active member base and solid leadership.

I believe that over the coming month, what we do will decide whether we survive or not. I will wait to see the result of what I have planned for this weekend before I make any judgement on my plans (that are already made) for the future. Rest assured though, you will not be kept in the know. :icon_wink:

R.L.: I like this tribe. I really like and respect their leader, who is an old friend of mine. I believe that they have a solid base of members but just need to cut some dead weight. They have a lot of expansion room and I believe they can, and will, survive.

Misery: Don't really know much about this tribe except that Dan is in them. Therefore, I would class them as a good tribe. They have a nice looking spread and I do believe they will go far.

pRo: We will see over the coming week. Until then, I cannot comment.

AKQJ10: Just love this tribe. Extremely original name, nice spread and dominated in their war. Oh, and as an added bonus, they have PandorasRose. I mean come on, thats a winning recipe right there.

In all seriousness, I believe they have solid leadership, a good, solid member base and a nice location to top it all off. I have also heard some things about these guys, but they are simply unsubstantiated rumours. I'll wait for a while to see if they were right or not.

SYN: This tribe gets a lot of stick. For the life of me, I can't discover why. Sure, they have a lot of members - but so what. Their leader (KC) certainly knows what he is doing, and they have an Irish fellow in their tribe. Pfft, that's just legendary.

They have a good spread, I'd say they have a bit of dead weight to cut off, but they are certainly a good tribe.

...now I'll just do those who I know a bit about:

SCUM: I found out yesterday that my old co-leader from my nubletty days back on W11/12 is in this tribe. Well, that was quite a reunion. Having played a lot of Age of Empires together and now being allies here again.

A good bunch of people, certainly experienced but they will need to decide what to do - pRo or Chess. Either will be a test for them, but I do honestly believe they'll come out on top.

Oh, and muddshuvel likes to crossdress and Insanity2Blood is OK with it, so that makes it all the better. :icon_wink:

NERD: I feel sorry for these guys, I really do. If it weren't for Sasuke having such a large following that will simply support him even if they know he's wrong, these guys would have been a lot more popular. I have decided (on a few occasions) to stick up for these guys and I personally believe they can (not saying they will) turn the war around on Chess. Chess got a good start, but really haven't done much since then to be perfectly honest with you.

NERD certainly have capable leadership (they outlasted Sasuke on W25 :icon_wink:) and their members are more than capable. Keep an eye on these guys, I certainly will.
