Well, I've seen quite a few complain about you, so I think maybe they're just keeping it secret. Though I'm sure you could find them...if you were reading anything :icon_wink:.

Dondante is one, for sure, or so he claims. But yes, he's under the guise of anonymity. The rest that expressed anger toward me...they aren't in my tribe. :icon_sad:

Those that are from my tribe, namely Shaun, Dk, Juulke, Nadir, Rednecks and a maybe 1-2 more have not said anything against me in this thread, so I fail to see how you have come to that logical deduction.

I don't count googly though, he's not in my tribe anymore :) And we did kind of have a bad rapport to begin with.

Well this dragged on. I'd read it, go take out the trash or do some random chore, and come back to another page of this argument. I recall reading several times "this is my last post" and yet things kept rolling.. and rolling.. and rolling and rolling and rolling and rolling (see how annoying that can get?) and rolling and roll..-enough. I know my replying will simply add to the debacle, so I'll try keep it short and sweet.

NOTE: Spoilered for convenience, ignore it if you're bored of this topic.

  • As a duke, members "airing dirty laundry" is irritating. As a member of the public, its refreshing and interesting. Googly isn't a member anymore, so he shouldn't have a concern regarding posting comments like this, and isn't under any entitlement not to post considering the circumstances in which he left.
  • Shaun, you're not in the wrong. I don't know you nor have I played with anyone involved in this situation so I'd like to believe I'm relatively unbiased in all this. You sitting in the first place is being a helpful tribemate. You doing it on/off for 48 hours and performing the tasks to near perfect requirements (little mistiming, 'faeces' happens) makes you an awesomely-helpful tribemate in my eyes. The fact that you feel the need to apologise says a lot about your character and your standards which improves my opinion of you, but the apology is completely unneeded and unnecessary.
  • Barracuda - I've rage-quit a few times (even as duke). I've thrown tantrums, I've huffed and puffed and acted like a little 'female-dog'. However, I don't recall EVER getting mad at a sitter. Yes, I have been irritated and yes, I've been frustrated and thought to myself "just follow the damn instructions!", but blaming a sitter is never good. I'm not going to go into all the bull-faeces in this thread, nor do I care if you "learned your lesson". I don't think I'd sit for you again if it was me. Regardless of the apology, I just wouldn't want to go through all this crap again.

With regards to the top tribes, I've toyed with the idea of doing weekly/bi-weekly maps and throwing them together into a .GIF to show the progress of the world. I'm not sure if this is done often anymore with the storage of daily/weekly maps and with the auto-updating maps. However, if people would like this then I think it would be manageable and provide a good visual of the progress of the top tribes.

Well that sounds like a fantastic idea. There are quite a few worlds that I've gone through and looked at the player made maps of the worlds to get a good idea of how things played out, this just takes it to the next level.

that would surprise me! last time i checked everyone in k64 hated us so i assume varyag are in the hate club too. but i do like the idea of us ruling the world!
