Weird Music

This would be a case where I'd almost suggest autotune if it weren't for my aversion of it.

Sounds very sampled.
 
Ke$ha's sounds better live than this guy-which is kind of pathetic. And the lyrics don't even make up for it.
 
It kind of sounds like a guy singing in the shower to midi music.

Hmm... maybe I could start a band afterall. We'd be called the Shower Dudes.
 
It gets much better when they stop trying to be soft and quiet.
 
The harmonies are painful. Just everything about the singing is painful really.
 
They've got some decent ideas. A bit lacking on the execution.
 
Things I don't like:
needs a little bit of reverb on the vox (the clean sound doesn't really work for the music)
needs mic techniques used on vox (or at least a pop guard)
intonation on vox needs more control, as well as diction (vocals are all over the place in tone and melodically...sliding's cool, but it doesn't sound intentional...sounds like lack of control)
don't sing the high notes if they can't be hit with confidence, imho
bass needs to be brought up

Things I do like:
guitar tone, riffs
vox melodies
some of the chord progressions are interesting.
I like the style of music...kind of blues-rock, throwback to 90's alternative/grunge
