I know, but I mean that the PEOPLE who become mod are totally unknown to me(before they magically become mod), and I am pretty active on here.

Like this redneck fellow: He has been on for a year, but has less than 300 total posts :S And then they let him become a mod :|. No understand method of mod choosing. Do they pick these people out of a hat?
