Mm I use GIMP too, I don't see why you need to learn tutorials but for the extra's. The basics come naturally as you go along.

Neither did I, a tip for you tho - Go to File then click on Open as Layer, that way you can have a picture on top of the background. Download some text styles at http://www.dafont.com get some pictures at http://www.planetrenders.net and your good to go.

Dude i told you to go to w36 generaql discussion and look at the tutorials under graphic tutorials thread.
