Why are W2 Forums inactive?

Ain't seeing nobody in any tribe on W2 atm that's known to do good PnP. That's just how it is. It'll ultimately happen to all the worlds in the end.

Is there no way to make a compromise? something like sexual jokes are not allowed in the thread. Tell me how many different people talk in the "serious" threads these days? How many different people have posted in the 3 barbie threads (MPX decleration, XiG.1 declaration and DCs counter declaration)?

Sure, a lot of the old players that did the PnP have left the game, but new ones also came. I think that we can easily match the players you mentioned before. The lack of creative posters can`t be blamed for the innactivity.

The world was a hell of alot more active when those posters were around. If we work on ratios, I'll bet that it's a similar ratio of active players:active posters now, than it was say a year and a half ago.

I've stated before that it's fine for .siv. to recreate the jokes-thread if he can keep it clean.

Uhm, yea, the lack of creative thread-creators are definitely to blame for the inactivity. And there's no new ones that can match those that left, simple.

Sure, there's factors playing in too... Like the lack of any PnP-worthy happenings as well as the large families. Right now basically the whole world are at war... And that's like 4 tribes. Back then, you could always make funny and creative threads about why one tribe would join in and another would not and why it's good and all that... Now there's no point. There's not enough happenings, not enough creative posters and not enough activity at large.

there is no problem in discussing stuff like that. It makes children more awake of sexual problems, diseases etc. :p
Sex education is needed. And sivs thread showed different aspects of it.

These forums are inactive because there is no fun on them

Before you could make a point and have a laugh...but not its down to under 20 people posting who defend EVERY point made either for or against them

Its like a family squabble...he said ....she said ....I said

no one wants to post either because they dont have the in depth knowledge to back up any general point they are trying to get accross (cos you know that someone will have a something to throw at you to make you look stupid or your point invalid)

There are plenty of people playing that dont just stay around to press the attack button....I mean they have been playing this game for years...so they comming here to interact with the other people here - but they wont use these forums for fear of being flamed to death

yes bieng passionate about your view is well and good but man some of the attacks on people posting are to the just not nessesary

Its meant to be enjoyable...a bit of fun
You make a point - tounge in cheek or you got your facts mixed up - well have a laugh about it instead of digging the defense trenches and posting qoute from 3 months ago about what someone "actualy" said or not

The forums were good at one time because people took a bit of critisism and could point out others weaknesses - and it was not taken so personaly

Yeah there are 3-4 big tribes but they are made up of individuals all with a different take on thier own tribe and the game
Each tribe is doing its best to improve its standing within the game...more general comments on how they are doing it would be welcome.....without the bashing - if they are crowing about how they are the best then fine they deserve bashing...no tribe is better than anyother just now

The family tribes are gaining in some areas but loosing in others - there is a lot of play left in this game for individuals and tribes and family tribes - look at the barbie situation.....that could well turn the tide for some individuals/tribes
There is gaining off the enemy but your gains wiped out by them taking barbies and making stronger clusters in newer areas to threaten your "safer" areas

People want to comment but dont feel the need to have thier postings bashed on because of tribal loyilty or individuals dominating with thier better knowledge or other forcing the point to make thier view dominat

Family tribes dont help with this...I think DC was the only poster that would critisise or put accross a negative point about tW family without feeling "disloyal"

anyways ...thats my take on things as to why people wont post here and those are a few of the reasons why I dont post much or read these forums often these days - not that I post much anyways...lol

just a quick note, i think #Jirki is quite right in what he said, i just haven't bothered.

I think in fact himself and tarken fire? maybe something liek that asked me to send them a couple jokes for screening purposes, something i may deem as clean may not actually BE clean, this is something i need to do so you can blame me for it to be honest :)

Well very true mate. In the end everybody here gets gang banged for defending their tribe. But I think everybody should not take these insults personally and take it in spirit of game. If you think like that, getting bashed can be pretty fun :)
But I find it very funny that I dont get bashed for posting major BS. I guess people like talking about barbies princes and pokemon and all :icon_confused:

I would say that the ratio of posters to players is still about the same as in the old days.. only now we have 850 players instead of 10,000. So obviously we would have less people posting in the forums.
As for the quality of the posts... they may have decreased some. yes.
but for a large portion, im guessing, its that there are no good reasons for spectacular threads.
There is no new CEG, or FTR-Xig war, nothing ground breaking going on

How is this relevant? cause Pnp died for many of the aforementioned reasons, but mods like Mad also tend to get way ahead of themselves thinking that dulling out infractions for using "lol" will help keep a healthy and active forum when instead it is the needle in the haystack that keeps people away
