quests with no reward? You gotta do them, to clear the lineup. Some cost time, a precious resource indeed. Others are just annoying.

Attack Barbarian Village- closest was over 2 hours away

Join Tribe- got credit for tribe already created, but had to go back and change punctuation marks in various posts to get credit for followups.

Quests are there to help guide new players in the game and give them a mini tutorial. Be lucky you get any resources at all for doing them.

There's less purpose on no-hauls, but I think you'd typically get a flag for that kind of thing now.

And it's not that time consuming...
