Workaround for spoilers in Chrome

Hi guys

As quoted from our trusted forum mod, who has been talking with forum admins about this:

Spoiler Trouble?

I'll have a private word with the forums admins and see if we can resolve it.

For the time being, those with this trouble, just use the default browser *cringes* IE for this thread or safari for mac users.

I'll bring you an update asap.

I'm afraid guys your only limited to 1 spoiler to view on a page, no refreshing, clearing the cache or anything works until Chrome updates it.

Anyway, if you hate iE and love Chrome as much as I do (yes I'm a google fanboi :icon_eek, this workaround is for you.


First

Get the latest beta of Chrome (at the time of writing that was 4.0.249.43) here.


Next

Go to the Chrome Extensions page and get IE TAB Classic or IE Tab.


Finally

Follow the quick help/howto guide (I went with IE Tab Classic as I think it's the better of the two, but either will work) here.



Just un-click the same IE button when you're done to browse using Chrome normally (i.e. no longer using the IE engine in Chrome).
