Harry Potter. I read the 1st 4 in my younger days, but by the time the 5th one came out, I started liking girls and porn etc. Didn't bother with it again.

On topic of LOTR... Great movies and books, read them all and have the movies which I've probably watched 10 times each!

I agree. <3

LOTR was a hard read imo, quite boring for a while. Almost lost me, infact it did a couple of times.

A couple weeks ago I actually spent a couple hours in a bookstore. I could spend all day in one of those. I looked at everything from these fantansy books we've been talking about so far to guitar books to science books. Yes, there are some cool science books out there. One that particularly caught my eye was called something like "whats wrong with modern physics." Pretty much the book is about how all the "best and brightest" physicists get pressured into doing theoretical work like developing string theory and other stuff we'll never be able to prove even if it were to be true. It raises the question about why is this the case when there is still so much left to figure out on our planet. meh, I'm probably boring you by this point with my physics talk but it interests me :icon_redface:

I bought the silmarillion which is also by J.R.R. Tolkien but I can't get past the first chapter. I'm so confused by it. What it is I don't even :\

Your forum?
Arent we abit full of our selves?

Nahh, he isn't.

I willed him W23's forum when I quit the world.

Oh, yeah, LOTR kicks ass. As does The Hobbit.

If that isn't up to your speed, I recommend anything by Chuck Palahniuk, notably, Fight Club, and Choke.

Other favs include Catch-22 (absolutely, horrifyingly hilarious), Slaughterhouse Five, Fahrenheit 451, and Without Remorse.

Ok then.
I would appreciate it then if you wouldnt spam in MY forum.

Posting that you have had a bit too much to drink is a bit spam-like in my opinion.

I went off-topic when you went off-topic.

My English teacher told me that he was gay.. You do know that right...?

I've read the Animal Farm, short and funny comparison to the Russian Revolution, considering I was doing it in History simultaneously I found myself laughing at it.

Did To Kill a Mockingbird for English coursework, 'twas an ok read I guess, wasn't enticing but it was fine, got me a B.

Lord of the Rings ARE the best series to be ever converted into films, I've read the books and watched the films, quite big bits are missing, but nevertheless 'tis ok in comparison with the crap that comes out derived from books these days (Twilight :icon_rolleyes:, Eragon etc)
