I had to stop and laught a little at iceman
the rest i know only by legacy, but man, those are guys of another age.

Jayjayjay's not really "of another age". He was rank 1 by leaps and bounds on W47, which sure, wasn't "yesterday", but the world opened less than two years ago.

Adellion is better than Nauzhror

I'm going to assume that's a joke. The dude led a teaching tribe and wound up being taught more by me and my co-player than he taught any of the "students" in the tribe.

Edit: I'd also bet on Nauzhror above all those players.

:icon_redface:

Purple Predator is the best TW has to offer? :icon_redface:

Not very indicative of his overall ability. He's one of three players (Purple Predator, Lardingd, Godsman) that taught me a lot when I was new. Though I'd personally rate at least one of the other two (Lardingd) above him in terms of ability.

Purple Predator used various aliases, and rarely stuck around past startup/early-game, but ability-wise could outplay any of the names you mentioned previously by miles with the exception of Jamm; the two of them were usually closer to being neck and neck at startup.

I'd rate all three as better than myself though, though perhaps largely in part due to nostalgia, they were certainly far better than me when I was new, but they haven't played enough in recent times to really know for sure if they're truly as good as I remember.

Muldie, you make me really sad now. I don't what your problem is, that everytime you see the name jamm you have to start telling lies and try to speak bad about me. World 33 was one of the last worlds i played, never surpassing rank 2000ish.

Your memory is bad, really bad.

Top 5 was primarily you, Purple Predator, Kebabe (mostly due to PP thinking it was funny to account sit him and keep him ahead of you), duffbdat, and Allyboo. Being top 5 isn't a bad thing, but it's certainly not the same thing as the picture of being less active than rum nubs that you're trying to paint.

If you really did go for 27 hq on w33 then I spoke wrong because I remembered incorrectly, not because I was lieing. Looked up all your old w33 posts and found none in favour on higher hq.. a couple that seemed to disagree but one of those was potentially sarcastic and the other was probably just general smugness. Unless by some miracle someone kept their w33 world data from the beginning I can't look it up either. :(

I may not be a fanboy any more Jamm, but it is not because you have embarrassed me in the past for a stupid post. I'll admit that happened, I didn't think before posting (It was really trivial too thinking back lol). I usually speak highly of you.. You yourself have admitted that you're probably not so much a match for todays players. You'd do good for sure.. but probably not the best.

I really am sorry if I offended you. But for someone who is so proud to have left the game behind and not caring about it anymore, you sure seem to care a lot about what people think about you here still. Odd.

WindofWar31.

Enough said :icon_cool:

Edit,

Ok, maybe not enough said for the guys who didn't know him.

Single handedly defended against an entire tribe on world 13. Kept his cool at all times and this guy, really, you would want at your side in battle.

A brave and loyal fighter, knows the game inside out if you had incomings from WindofWar, you posted support post straight away I'm fairly sure :)

I wasn't the jake from INSO, I was the jake from INSO's enemy. Just read through our PM's, I never lied :icon_wink:

WoW was a tribal wars fighting machine born and bred to fight and he's a legend in my eyes.

Never posted on the forums, just got on with the game in hand and did it with the efficiency and coolness you just had to stand back in awe at.

Even before being in a tribe with him, I heard fellow comrades whispering about the delete button just cause they started in his 7x7.

"Friends
jamm has not made any friends yet
Befriend jamm "

I guess after all those years and all those "accomplishments" you didn't achieve the one thing that matters in such a social game. Making friends. Nobody likes you because all you do is tell people they're wrong to play the game a certain way. People have their own play styles and it's their choice, who gives you the right to flame them for it? And when they do agree with you, you call them fanboys and reject them. Nobody is good enough for you because you're your own biggest fanboy.

So I pity you Jamm, I really do. Learn to play.

I noticed his name in my K at the beginning of this world and from my experinces on world 5 I knew I was not going to be his enemy on this :icon_wink:

A truly great all rounder.

He really didn't deserve a reply tbh. One of my first proper worlds was Jamms last, but from when I started the game changed so much I cannot say any of the so called 'greats' have ever gone on to impress me, so I doubt he would either.

There is no such thing as the greatest player ever. It's a subjective question and therefore has no definitive answer.

One can only give their opinion. Everyones opinion of what contributes to what is the greatest player is also subjective.

Players on one world may think you are the greatest player ever, then you may lazily play another world and people think you are terrible.

I think I can safely say I have played with most of those considered the best in Tribalwars and no-one really has the full package of what I'd consider to be the best player but lots of people have impressed me greatly at certain points and in specific areas. However they all tend to fall very short in another area also.

At first when you fanboi you can't see their downfalls, as you get to know players over the years and play side by side with them, then you see whether they are also a good team mate and have integrity.

The best player to me is not someone who consistanly gets rank one or posts the cleverest posts and is forum famous it's those people who I have come to know and like and have made my gaming experience fun <3 Thank you all , you know who you are xx

I have a big disagree here.

Forum post are not in-game skill.

I played this game for a year without even knowing about the world forums.

World forums are part of the game, maybe for the leadership.

The specialist who can play superb will always be of greatest value to the tribe.

Thread is about who is the greatest player, not who is the most skilled player in-game.

But, wait, I consistently get rank 1, you know me, I "think" you like me , and I at least tell myself that my posts are at times clever :icon_redface:, I'm definitely forum famous, or at least infamous, so like surely I have the whole package, no? :icon_cool:

PS: This post is not by any means of a serious nature.

Don't worry I wont reveal which area ;) :p

Thread is about who is the greatest player, not who is the most skilled player in-game.

Urm but that may mean the same thing to some people? People interpreted as they like, how can you define it? What does greatest player mean?

A player is someone who gets lots of girls. So clearly Jamm isn't good at that.

I interpret it as the person who is seen in the highest regard by others, irrelevant of their reasons (in-game skill, personality, PNP etc).

So basically whoever has the most friends, can you see who has the most friends on this forum morthy? :p
