pete and clara taught me game also, all i have today i owe to them (and some other players). many villes would not be here if they didnt save it or help/support build it.

many things i remember - for example somebody deleted all groups in my acct and clara was the one who put them back. same snipe in k36. same supporters melita/webb etc supporting the old frontline. same for the other people who taught HQs and scripts. I remember these personal things.

but when u talk about tribe, its different page, u can remember good things ppl done to u... but when u wanna war ... when you have so many random players popping up from nowhere in front territory, (random 2 here at the left, 2 there at the right - when you ask them which K are you nobling in they can't even tell which K it is...?? cannot differentiate off ville from def ville???? or don't build stables???) (and you discover they build mixed troops, don't send def or off out to frontline.???)... and it happens every other day??

... it's already 2 years into the game already ...

..when you say give chance... ask for support from them to support tribemate.. they send LC / axe as support (facepalm x 100)... or best ignore mail...

then how..? like this how? confirm screwed up right?

suddenly another player diarrhoea a cluster of villages in some random place?? (and when you ask whats going on, nobody knows?) is about patience... been patient for a long time. you can't keep sorting and resorting and resorting and resorting and resorting and the same thing happens and happens again????

tell me your frustration. we don't need such things from too many players. some players can be trusted to noble in fronts, some players not. it's like rebuilding and one big cycle over and over again.

systemic vs event.

when fires break out, do you extinguish the fire, but another fire break out again? is a systemic problem or event problem? territory conflict is just an event in a system.

Many of your villages would not be here if it was not for the backline player who happily logs in daily to build def yet you see them as insignificant. Based on your own thoughts of how a tribe should be led then you should have been nobled out long ago by Pete and Clara rather than them teaching you. Maybe educate players on mixed villages rather than restrict them on areas so it doesnt effect you, its not that difficult to teach you never know you may learn something from them one day!

2 years into a world... and start nurturing, teaching....?

Did I try teaching some? Yes.

And then you find out the players you teach share passwords with 4 other players.. who randomly gift villages to other random players... and suddenly they randomly coplay another player, and gift the account to yet another player. and what.... omg heart attack man... cannot take it. seriously.

(do you ever wonder why players restrict their own territory? one fine day you find the owner changes... and changes... and changes...) so when you send nukes out from your K to TSL.. you find the owners has changed? and we rework everything and reteach again??

Name names that I see as insignificant - I think you have the perception that I think all backline players should be "condemned", but no, that's not case.

It's just total chaos where nobody knows who is supporting or who is not, nobody knows who is nuking or who is not. When you don't know half the tribe and random fires keep erupting left right center. Of course people leave and lose interest... I am not immune.. how many times all players left.. I left too :)

You must have poor organisational skill as ...
Pete had things organised
Clara had things organised
Assassin had things organised
Kid had things organised

You must finally realise leadership is not quite as easy as you thought, wishing you hadnt criticised others quite as much now? not that you would ever admit it. Its chaos because you need the councils support to ensure everything is carried out, you cant do it all by yourself! thats where its important the council support each other. You dont know what half the tribe is doing because you split the tribe with all the bickering!

I never had any formal power and not interested to with culture gap :)

the only hope (with chance for twist) was when pete/clara can work together like they did in ANARKY. tribe would be brilliant and can have chance of defeating enemy.

And if Skill? gang of lucid and co. stayed to have more skill and might in frontline.

anything else is just making a headbang experience, and just repeating rituals.

Oh I think we all know you took control at one point.

the only hope (with chance for twist) was when pete/clara can work together like they did in ANARKY. tribe would be brilliant and can have chance of defeating enemy.
Yes as wonderful as that would have been your still wrong as it didnt matter who was duke as both players were still playing their accounts so the skilled players were still there and would have been advising.

And if Skill? gang of lucid and co. stayed to have more skill and might in frontline.
True they were good players but again we did regain that ground and done well doing so.

anything else is just making a headbang experience, and just repeating rituals.
You successfully stopped that ritual as most players left.

like pete said

"twist mainly made up of socialites who learnt to play game", don't think will succeed.

ya

Doesnt everyone learn to begin with :icon_eek:

Doesnt the word "game" mean its meant to be fun and challenging

Doesnt the word "team" suggest you may have to socialise with others

yes yes i am wrong :D

twist did very well :D

i caused all players to leave :D (wait i left also..)

we have our habits of gameplay by what our predecessors teach us, and everything else is just repeating a ritual... why should anyone be doing rituals for the sake of rituals without an endgoal?

Wrong enough as feel you better delete the post :icon_eek:

Success comes from working as a team, socialisation is a teambonding process which should serve to increase a tribes chances of success. it is much more likely that an account will provide a friend with the troops necessary to defend a village than an unknown that happens to send an impersonal message pleading for defense on the forums.

Yes you left the tribe alot are you really going to boast about that :icon_eek:
Tell me something (I know im going to regret asking this but...) why do you think so many people have left recently?

team yes

have worked under many good bosses and team, rl and tw . in work, the leader understands what their followers want and pave way for them to succeed, align the goals of each individual to team . then the leader doesnt even have to do much.the followers do all the hard work happily . team power.

but if not like minded and unhappy.. what to do.

as to why leave? u can blame on bickering, I don't mind. but why do ppl bicker? for sake of winning argument or for trying to improve things? see why titu best frontliner leave after a bicker ? sad about that. maybe it's different methods that we all use to solve conflict. maybe it's different methods we see of trying to improve things.maybe is stubborn. maybe cultural gap.

Stop blaming cultural gap its human nature to help and support those that surround us. The bickering ... Thats the reason I left, I couldnt care less who was duke, I just wanted to play the game but instead logged into read abuse in the forums or people causing an uprise by demanding certain players be removed from council.
You said earlier you had no interest in the power so why demand that someone who was doing the job willingly and capably be removed?

I know you liked Pete as duke I did also but I also like the others duking aswell as I said each brought their own qualities to the game as duke, I would never go out to destroy anyone elses chances of duking the tribe, you need to learn to become more adaptable to change.

We all spent many hours/days/months/years on this game we all done our bit to help get Twist to where it is.

As I said previously you need to become more adaptable to change, just because you say something should be done a certain way doesnt mean thats the way it will be done, working in a team means everyone has input. Its good not to become predictable.

You know im not going to discuss things that happened in this forum in any great detail, plus your too narrow minded to look at things from another point of view, so we go round in circles and get no further forward. At the end of the day yeh you may have been accused of something trivial but heyho you got them back bigtime didnt you. I hope you now feel justice has been done and enjoy the end game.
