I have to agree with tony on this one. Just because it is the same members and name as the original one does not mean it survived throughout. How long was there no ROMA? This is a new incarnation. Not the original. Very simple.

yes but, for a period of time you was not as ROMA, so this makes us ask the question, had ROMA not merged or whatever they did in the middle, would they have survived, or simply have been taking out by surrounding tribes?

either way though, i guess we will never know, and the same players are still here, so one way and another, they have survived.

You are in TAO now. Will you keep tribe hopping until the end of the world, then create a ROMA tribe and claim that ROMA survived until the end? ROMA did not exist for 2 years. Any member that exists from an original core tribe could also create a tribe with the original name. Would you then accept that ROMA is not the only original core tribe that survived?

God I remember my solo battles with Aten|F members, if you can even call those battles at all. I had about 3 villages and mustered up the courage to attack a neighboring Aten|F village. The guy quit the tribe after the first few attacks and thats the way it was with every Aten|F member I conquered. I think I was around 5 villages before the meanest dictator in TW history forced me to join his small, spread out band of fierce fighters!

i remember the ATEN tribes...they were pretty much in the K4 and k14 areas if memory serves me correctly...i remember successfully defending against one...also in this area were a few 100I players as well...i can't remember the tribe i belonged to back then but after i got rimmed i focused on w18 (where i almost got rimmed there as well) where i managed to survive and went from a ranking of 41,000 to my present ranking of 8th ;P...

This brought back some memories haha. i was here at the start but quit early on.
