Most of you don’t know me well, many don’t know me at all. Frankly, I am comfortable with that. I tend to be quiet for the most part, don’t really seek, or require attention. I do however pay attention, and I read.
What happened early today has changed a lot of things for me, and 15 hours later, I just cannot let it go. So hey everyone, Nice to meet you all! My name is John, my friends call me jj (so do some of my enemies) and this is what I have to say.
To FRST. Wow. I mean Really?
To Jin,
Good Luck to you. You have been a steady, solid and reliable teammate for months. My heart broke just a little bit when your villages turned red. I was upgrading villages when you joined FRST and am quite possibly the first person outside of your new team, that learned of your decision. FWIW, I think I understand why you made this choice, and I in no way fault you for it. You gotta do, what’s best for you, and anyone who says different is full of crap. So when I say good luck, I truly mean, good luck.
To FRST (again)
I guess I can’t really say that I don’t understand the appeal, but where is the ethical compass that should intervene and say wait…”Do we Really want to win like this?” Perhaps it is because I am almost as old as dirt. Perhaps I am just Naïve. Perhaps.
I would honestly have expected leadership to respect the game, and the efforts of ALL who have been here from the start of this world, and to have resisted the temptation to advance with a stroke of the pen rather than through skill and effort. I would have expected leadership to look in at themselves and say “No, we do not want, or need this in order to win” I of course would be wrong.
I didn’t want this to be any longer than it had to be, but I wanted to make myself understood. I think what you did was wrong for the sake of the game, and I believe it will remove the last bit of fun, for many many people.
That said, feel free to flame me. I don’t really care, why should I?
