The scenario in W12 is a long way off from happening in W1, the circumstances are not even close to being related as to how W1 will end.

I started playing in September 2006 I believe.
It TWStats, my first village says 9/7/2006.

There was Die-Staemme. The german version of the game, so the franchise could have possibly started in 2003.
