This one tickled a lot of our players, for the record it is about the scuffle between Barn and HiPPoS.
I apologise for the length but I was not the author, it was a circular mail to Barn and their academy:

Members of Barn,
You may or may not be aware that your tribe is at war with Hippos. Though "war" may not be the correct word to use to describe what is happening. It is more of a personal vendetta being carried out by your duke Ceemorr.
Our tribes at one point, considered each other to be permanent allies. We did very well together in completely dismantling the entire OMV family. In fact, the formation of Hippos can be attributed to distraction provided by Barn early in the war. It was because of this appreciation for what Barn did, that we tried so hard to reason and negotiate with Ceemorr when he began to argue with our leadership.
At the very end of our war on OMV, around the time OMV changed their tribe names to WISH and RRRB, Ceemorr attempted to lay down the peace terms to WISH/RRRB. All but one of Hippos had heard nothing of these terms when WISH/RRRB had already began complying to them. So we were understandably confused and upset when WISH/RRRB contacted us telling us we were breaking the terms of the peace agreement. Especially considering Hippos were doing the majority of the fighting, and all of the nobling during the war.
The peace terms got off to a bad start, and continued to progress poorly. Hippos made attempts to negotiate the terms with Ceemorr, and communications problems and childish arguments between Ceemorr and various members of our leadership (usually johnythefish). Hippos had a number of problems with the terms, but the main problem was that they were proposed to WISH/RRRB entirely too early in the war, yet we still attempted to work with them. Many of their members, esp those of their leadership, were still under the idea that they were winning the war. I experienced this personally as I was a Baron in RRRB for a short while (one of the terms was that WISH and RRRB had to allow a Barn and Hippos rep into their tribe to keep an eye on their forums), and despite my best attempts to be helpful and diplomatic, I was treated with nothing but disrespect and arrogance, and I was eventually dismissed from the tribe without a word from anyone.
That was a direct breaking of the terms, even as Ceemorr had proposed them. Yet when we went back to war on WISH/RRRB, Barn (Ceemorr) did not join us. He started to secretly support RRRB's front line against Hippos. He continued to argue with our leaders. In fact, I would say all, if not nearly all of our leaders talked with him personally, trying to reason with him. Trying to negotiate something that we could agree on. Yet all talks with each of us ended the same way- with Ceemorr name calling and making childish threats. He continued to do this for weeks until finally constant threats, recruiting of refugees, and nobling barbarian villages as far south as K93 well within our borders. We were not even allowing our own members to noble barbarian villages in K93 during the war, so Hippos took the village back from Ceemorr. Ceemorr then declared war on Hippos with absolutely zero preperation.
Here are the current results of that war:
Hippos villages lost: 6
Barn villages lost: 73

Several Barn players in K83 have been reduced to 1 to 3 villages. Yet, as you can read from Ceemorr himself in this public forum thread, he treats the entire war, as well as the losses from these players, with care-free arrogance. I encourage all of you to read this thread in its entirety. It is a very good overview of the war, and the attitudes of those involved:

Here's the bottom line.
Maybe you share Ceemorr's feelings on this war. Maybe you dont mind putting your players at risk for nobling, and dont mind losing a reckless and hopeless war. Thats fine. We will continue to fight you, and noble our way up to northern K83, and continue the war into K73.
However, if you agree that Ceemorr has acted childishly, taken his role as the leader of your tribe as a joke, and has carelessly put your members at needless risk, then we are willing to negotiate with you.
-Ceemorr can no longer exist in this world. This term we are not willing to negotiate. His character flaws and past actions have put him into a situation that we simply can not forgive. This mail is not a secret. We are sending it to Ceemorr as well. So this can happen in two ways: 1. Ceemorr can deactivate his account and immediately quit the world. 2. If Ceemorr refuses to quit, the members of Barn must rim him themselves. Barn may select whoever else they like as their new leader.
-tigerg has been nothing but kind and lighthearted in my experience. Yet ironically enough, she is married to Ceemorr. So as much as it saddens me, she must share Ceemorr's fate. Assuming the two are sharing internet connections, we can not risk that ceemorr will try to continue to have influence in the game using his wife's account.
-Barn must stay out of K83. Those you recruited as refugees will be allowed to stay with Barn. However, they must not noble new villages outside of their clusters. If they wish to expand further than their current clusters, they must do so in other continents, such as K73. No new recruiting in K83 will be allowed. And obviously, no members of Barn in 73 are permitted to noble their way into 83.
Thats it. No required name changes, no forced alliances or family associations. We only want the offender from Barn (who unfortunately happens to be your duke) eradicated. And for you to concede to us the K we worked so hard for. If you can agree to this and put it in action, we will officially have a cease fire.
Questions or any other comments are encouraged. Please send them to johnythefish or Wibz.
Until we hear an agreement, and begin to see Ceemorr nobled(or deactivated), the war between Hippos and Barn continues.
