Ahh, I wondered who had done AOL's blog banner - nice. I like the lightning in the first one, but the rest have too much white for my tastes.

Pretty "meh" but I have learnt one or two things from these that have been useful (mostly what "not" to do :icon_razz:)

Usually a round hard or a soft brush (depending on what I'm doing) at 90% strength and around 6px (or larger, for the larger smudges).
 
Harb you've Improved SO much your work is BRILLIANT
My favorite is the large smudge
 
I've noticed a lot of the renders you chose have big boobies.
I find it kinda' smart, because it's automatically where my eyes go, making a perfect focal point. :3
 
Harbinger's gotten ridiculously amazing since I last visited!

Gotta say all those requests and constant signaturing you've done has really paid off =D

I was thinking I could make a video to show how I do my smudging (I'm not the best at it, but for the beginners). I have no idea about screen capture software and editting and etc though, videos never were my domain. :icon_razz:
