The issue isnt finding girls, the issue is finding which ones are actually girls and which ones are pretending xD

I have a book by Richard Bartle, one of the inventors of Mud and apparently a bit of a sage when it comes to virtual worlds. The way to spot on line masquerading is look for these signs.

Claims their alter ego is physcially attractive, same name as their alter ego, some reason why they can't meet in person (disability, remoteness ect), never give their phone number, avoid players who are really what they are pretending to be (ie if pretending to be a woman avoid real women players), bring in friends from their real life who never remain active, take on high profile roles in the community, have their alter ego succomb to injury or accidents.

I know some persons who fit that description perfectly. Or people who want to be 'unknown'. Even boys/girls who flirt with other boys/girls, saying they are from the other gender. And sometimes they really go far in this.. Sick, if you ask me.
