Jerry McCabes Top 5 tips to spying version 1.0


1. Make a new Skype. Have contacts - It doesn’t matter who they are or where they came from just make sure you have some. Put some effort into your new skype by changeing your picture. An old man who looks trustworthy works a treat. Add a location and fill in some false details. This makes people less suspicious from the get go. Some old stats of a player who is no longer around is perfect for this. My example would be - JerryMcCabe, a world 19 player who looks to be a vet and very experienced. The TW community probably don’t know him very well either due to w19 isn’t a very sociable world.


2. Don’t be suspicious or do anything out of the ordinary. A duke loves a player who gets on with the game and proves themselves in game rather than any thing else. I will later show you the big “No No’s” in spying.


3. Don’t let people know who your friends are. In TW it may be true that we all have friends in different tribes but don’t bring them up necessarily. The reasoning behind this will be revealed shortly.


4. Don’t threaten your Duke by saying you will leave or that he is asking too many questions. It is his job to run the tribe, and sometimes sniff out the spies.


5. Don’t brag about spying! Especially don’t tell the Duke you are a spy or anyone else for that matter. Only one person should know. That is the duke of the enemy tribe.

I doubt someone would admit their friend is their spy, knowingly, to the enemy duke if that put their friend and his reputation in danger.
