On the Dutch sotw we don't work with polls. We just write a post with our vote and some comments. Afterwards the mods count the votes
It might be better because people can't vote on their own. But the mods will have a little more work ^^

You can easily see who voted for who with these polls, so to not use them would be completely superfluous really.
