[spoil][2/11/2015 8:44:30 PM] Matt!?!: and the proof of this place?[2/11/2015 8:44:49 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: we are currently looking at houses in different areas
[2/11/2015 8:44:53 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: check a map if you like
[2/11/2015 8:45:03 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: generally they are in the same vicinity
[2/11/2015 8:45:12 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: from calaba town at the adge of freetown
[2/11/2015 8:45:17 PM] Matt!?!: how much does one of these things cost
[2/11/2015 8:45:22 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: to waterloo at the extreme distance
[2/11/2015 8:45:26 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: but including
[2/11/2015 8:45:27 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: rokel
[2/11/2015 8:45:29 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: hastings
[2/11/2015 8:45:30 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: jui
[2/11/2015 8:45:35 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: devil's hole
[2/11/2015 8:45:42 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: does google show that one?
[2/11/2015 8:45:59 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: Devil's Hole is just outside waterloo
[2/11/2015 8:46:03 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: on the freetown side
[2/11/2015 8:46:14 PM] Matt!?!: I am in the real estate business so Im curious as to what th ecosts are
[2/11/2015 8:46:44 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: the closer to the city the higher the price
[2/11/2015 8:46:47 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: obviously?
[2/11/2015 8:47:55 PM] Matt!?!: I meant how much for the ones youre looking at
[2/11/2015 8:48:14 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: here are 2 pics of 1 house we looked at
[2/11/2015 8:48:22 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: (wait)

[2/11/2015 8:49:46 PM] Jirki88: it'll be difficult for Azpilicueta to explain that pic to Ivanovic tomorrow!
[2/11/2015 8:49:46 PM] Jirki88:
[2/11/2015 8:49:59 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: that is 3 bedrooms
[2/11/2015 8:50:46 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: it is a nice house by the standards of a nation ranked 184 out of 187?
[2/11/2015 8:51:02 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: it is a decent home in america tbh
[2/11/2015 8:51:15 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: with an amazing view btw
[2/11/2015 8:51:50 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: if i pay cash to rent that home for 1 year, it is 5mill leones
[2/11/2015 8:52:14 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: $1149.60
[2/11/2015 8:52:18 PM] Matt!?!: does anyone else get the feeling he stalled till he could google it
[2/11/2015 8:52:30 PM] al haji rasul al masiha:
[2/11/2015 8:52:36 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: just under $100 month but you do not rent by the month typically and not at cash cost ever
[2/11/2015 8:52:36 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: lag
[2/11/2015 8:52:51 PM] Matt!?!: you responded to me in the midst of me asking 10 times
[2/11/2015 8:52:52 PM] Matt!?!: -_-
at 8:44:30 you asked for proof and never even let me answer that
our first step is to find an acceptable deal on a house, then we get the registration
45 seconds later you had asked the cost as i was answering the first
to which i answered 30 seconds later, the cost is obviously influenced by proximity to the city as anybody in real estate knows fyi
1 minute later you asked about the specific ones i was looking at, and 1.5 minutes later i supplied 2 pics of a house we were looking at
and in the midst of explaining what is also factored into the cost (it is a nice home, nut a mud hut; whether we rent by year or smaller intervals like you do in america)
believe it or not, a mud hut in a rural village rented by the year does not cost the same as a mansion in downtown freetown rented by the month :icon_surprised:
[2/11/2015 9:04:06 PM] Matt!?!: where are the children coming from
[2/11/2015 9:04:22 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: but it does have the cost of internet and generartor and petrol
[2/11/2015 9:04:56 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: until we have the house and registration, we are not looking for the children
[2/11/2015 9:05:21 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: first we need a deal on a house
[2/11/2015 9:05:24 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: then we register
[2/11/2015 9:05:49 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: then we build the furniture instead of buying and save a little money so a janitor can afford this
[2/11/2015 9:05:54 PM] al haji rasul al masiha:
[2/11/2015 9:06:25 PM] al haji rasul al masiha:

[2/11/2015 9:06:43 PM] *** Ash Ketchum has left ***
[2/11/2015 9:06:55 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: 50 bulbs?
[2/11/2015 9:07:00 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: as i said a rough draft
[2/11/2015 9:07:19 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: alie sent me this, i will make changes and send it back
[2/11/2015 9:08:09 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: there is more, ofc but it is a rough draft
[2/11/2015 9:08:54 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: where are the children coming from
[2/11/2015 9:09:02 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: this is complicated
[2/11/2015 9:09:31 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: we plan to start with 4 children
[2/11/2015 9:09:35 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: 2 girls 2 boys
[2/11/2015 9:09:58 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: the 3 bedroom house will start with 1 bunkbed in each of 2 rooms for girls and boys
[2/11/2015 9:10:32 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: and a bed in the bedroom for the "mother"
[2/11/2015 9:11:57 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: at night we will have a trustworthy male sleep on a cot or mattress in the sitting room
[2/11/2015 9:12:13 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: security
[2/11/2015 9:12:40 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: he will receive a roof, dinner and breakfast
[2/11/2015 9:12:51 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: and he has all day to go out and do his own thing
[2/11/2015 9:13:04 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: for a young man in africa, this is a good set up
[2/11/2015 9:13:41 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: tangent
[2/11/2015 9:13:58 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: those 4 children to start with will one day become 8 befoe we need a new building
[2/11/2015 9:14:13 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: with a second bunkbed in the girls and boys rooms
[2/11/2015 9:15:15 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: those 4 girls and boys need to be capable of learning to use a computer, learning english, rapidly, in order for this endeavour to be self-sufficient asap
[2/11/2015 9:15:32 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: later kids can be toddlers for example
[2/11/2015 9:15:38 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: but they require greater care
[2/11/2015 9:15:43 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: and nobody can video chat with them
[2/11/2015 9:16:16 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: the first kids need to be the right 4 then 4 more kids for this to develop
[2/11/2015 9:16:25 PM] Matt!?!: where are you going to get the kids
[2/11/2015 9:16:33 PM] CDN: come on..
[2/11/2015 9:16:34 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: that is what am i getting at
[2/11/2015 9:16:39 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: the greatest need is in the villages
[2/11/2015 9:16:42 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: not the city
[2/11/2015 9:16:50 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: it is ironic
[2/11/2015 9:16:54 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: where you can farm
[2/11/2015 9:16:58 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: my people starve
[2/11/2015 9:17:06 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: but where you cannot farm
[2/11/2015 9:17:10 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: the people eat
[2/11/2015 9:17:29 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: kids are not starving in freetown
[2/11/2015 9:17:38 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: they are starving in the rural areas
[2/11/2015 9:17:46 PM] Matt!?!: where are you getting the kids
[2/11/2015 9:17:50 PM] Matt!?!: some sort of organization
[2/11/2015 9:18:05 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: alie will go to the rural villages
[2/11/2015 9:18:27 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: and see if there are 2 girls and 2 boys who are in need and can learn to communicate fast
[2/11/2015 9:18:41 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: the boys and girls in the city are in need
[2/11/2015 9:18:42 PM] Matt!?!: and then just take them?
[2/11/2015 9:18:49 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: they are not going to starve though
[2/11/2015 9:19:22 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: and then just take them? (chuckle)
[2/11/2015 9:20:47 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: this is the hardest point to explain to westerners
[2/11/2015 9:22:02 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: it is perhaps the best question
[2/11/2015 9:22:06 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: and matt asked it
[2/11/2015 9:22:09 PM] al haji rasul al masiha:
[2/11/2015 9:22:20 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: where do we get the kids
[2/11/2015 9:22:24 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: how do we get the kids
[2/11/2015 9:22:44 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: in the u.s. you have cps
[2/11/2015 9:23:01 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: Child Protective Services
[2/11/2015 9:23:20 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: for those who are not american, i will explain, i expect you have similar
[2/11/2015 9:23:57 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: if i suspect a child is being raised in an evironment that does not meet their most basic needs
[2/11/2015 9:24:03 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: i call cps
[2/11/2015 9:24:15 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: if my fear is true, they take the child
[2/11/2015 9:25:08 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: sometimes the parents come forward and put their own child up for adoption
[2/11/2015 9:25:23 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: sometimes the child has no parents and no next of kin that is willing to care for the child
[2/11/2015 9:25:53 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: in africa we live in communities, not neighborhoods
[2/11/2015 9:25:56 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: we are faimly
[2/11/2015 9:26:11 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: but extended family
[2/11/2015 9:26:34 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: if the village is doing well, no child is going to starve
[2/11/2015 9:27:15 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: if the village has starving kids cuz they cannot feed everybody
[2/11/2015 9:27:24 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: it becomes more the responsibility of the parent
[2/11/2015 9:27:30 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: we have chiefs
[2/11/2015 9:27:44 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: so alie goes to the rural villages and meets the chief
[2/11/2015 9:27:54 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: in a village that is struggling
[2/11/2015 9:28:28 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: he talks with the chief
[2/11/2015 9:28:44 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: the chief and alie talk to the family currently trying to care for the child but failing
[2/11/2015 9:29:05 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: the family wants the child to have a better life
[2/11/2015 9:29:48 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: they ask alie "yes, please, if you have somebody who can give this child a better life, please do"
[2/11/2015 9:30:08 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: maybe the child has no parents
[2/11/2015 9:30:18 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: but because we are communal
[2/11/2015 9:30:27 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: there is always next of kin
[2/11/2015 9:30:38 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: no matter how much the next of kin is struggling
[2/11/2015 9:30:41 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: they will take the child
[2/11/2015 9:30:45 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: and the village will help
[2/11/2015 9:30:50 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: as they can
[2/11/2015 9:31:02 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: it is basically the same
[2/11/2015 9:31:05 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: as in america
[2/11/2015 9:31:10 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: but more consentual
[2/11/2015 9:31:25 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: and differently structured and done
[2/11/2015 9:32:13 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: but kids in the villages will very likely be slower to learn to communicate
[2/11/2015 9:32:23 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: which is vital for the first 4 kids and 4 more kids
[2/11/2015 9:32:54 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: for the entire program to be an immediate success and self-sufficient before the winds change
[2/11/2015 9:33:36 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: 2 years after i rented the first house for mercy children's orphanage and sent the first handful of pics, they owned the big brand new building on the 5 acre farm
pics
imagine if the investors had been able to speak with the kids in video chat
[2/11/2015 9:33:56 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: to be self-sufficient they need a real farm
[2/11/2015 9:33:59 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: not 5 acres
[2/11/2015 9:34:25 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: ironically the kids could come from the villages
[2/11/2015 9:34:33 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: to just outside of freetown
[2/11/2015 9:34:37 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: for 1-2 years
[2/11/2015 9:34:51 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: while land is bought and a building constructed back in the rural area
[2/11/2015 9:35:03 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: which will then be able to take on the kids most in need of help
[2/11/2015 9:35:33 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: even if the world forgets about them
[2/11/2015 9:35:59 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: our first kids will not be starving 3 year olds
[2/11/2015 9:36:52 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: but for that reason
[2/11/2015 9:37:00 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: after the first 8 kids
[2/11/2015 9:37:10 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: we can take 3 year old starving kids
i guess i not only answered that, but in exquisite detail
as before you interrupted me answering a prior question you had asked with a new question
between checking emails, finding links from my photoshop library, finishing your prior question, playing tw, leading a tribe, and the lag i was suffering from so many posts in so many different chats, i still managed to get to the newest question in less than 5 minutes
there are 80 people in that chat who know you are full of shit, including yourself
they watched me answer every question you asked, no matter how complicated it would be to explain it to a westerner who has no idea how sierra leone works
for an hour they watched me answer you
at the end of which you accused me of making diatribes
get your story straight at least, either i did not answer the questions or i did so at too great a length in too much detail (in your erroneous opinion anyway, because clearly you had no clue what you were even asking "how much does a house in sierra leone?" seriously? "how much does a house cost in the u.s.?"
[2/11/2015 9:39:31 PM] CDN: Is..
[2/11/2015 9:39:33 PM] CDN: Is it over?
[2/11/2015 9:39:39 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: my primary function in sierra leone was to get africans and westerners on the same page
[2/11/2015 9:39:51 PM] Frankie (Fig?): so this is w79 chat right?
[2/11/2015 9:40:04 PM] al haji rasul al masiha: it is
[2/11/2015 9:40:05 PM] Matt!?!: we need a new one
[2/11/2015 9:40:09 PM] Matt!?!: that isn't filled with diatribes
feel
very free to leave the chat, your BS will not fool anybody even if you stay
and it is sick mate, sick
[/spoil]
If you run an orphanage, that is superb humanitarian work that you do, so kudos.
thank you
