Now, this is more of a lament, since I'm pretty angry at the way my luck and my coplayers' luck has been none to slim. After all, being players who go offensive most of the time, and ending up as top 2 for ODD. Come on!
From backtimers to small time players being "ordered" to attack us, or just someone killing off sat accounts on us, we had to struggle for most of the way, but still, troops managed to overcome any obstacles.
Then, the terrible Nurgle started to show interest. Some of his minions were already all over us, probing, scouting. The shadow grew in our Northwest. We were afraid...
Well, not really afraid, more like slightly amused at the amount of his own tribe members and abandons he nobled, as well as how he managed to stay in top K tribes all the time, switching one for another, as he saw fit, or called it politics.

Finally, a day after the break, we noticed a train coming towards us. And we were SHOCKED!
...By the incredible coordination you may witness here:
Alright, we said, 17 villages or so, he's probably big enough to crush us with his four nukes. Let's just let him noble that and then renoble or something, there's a lot of ways to deal with this.
But no, my brave coplayer said. Let us stack!
What are you going to stack with, we can't stop four full nukes that he must have by now!
But you're forgetting. This guy has 17 villages. His nukes are thin, because the nobles had to be fed!
Hm, you may be onto something, my friend. Let's see what happens.
Wham!
Last Christmas you sent me a nuke.

Sending defense? 17 villages? Are you kidding me?
The time has come for Mr. Nurgle to slowly die out. He's all D now, and many people might decide to take a bite. I predict the decline of TheNurgle, newly nicknamed TheTurgle, who now plunges down towards the shores of obscurity. Probably still talking about himself in the third person.
To conclude, I have to say I really hate when people manipulate smaller players on a large scale, by keeping whole tribes under their thumb, and keeping in a safe haven of a top K tribe, usually full of mass-recruited newbies, and then munching on them, or sending them to do your dirty work. I plain hate it.
Still, it's a legitimate way to play, and a little deception here and there is necessary if you plan to succeed. But when it joins with you being a poor player with a big ego as well, I find that just disgusting
