This does still have gameplay implications by the way, for those who seem to think that it doesn't. With a bar showing lost resources in this way, it will be much clearer - and more quantifiable - when you are starting to lose lots of resources and need to mint in the first place, or balance out some resources, or send some to a tribemate. IMO, the case of seeing how many resources you've lost during a minting session is actually the least useful case for this suggestion.
Yes, it's information you could have had before, but it's simple to read and is all in one place. I think that does make a difference for gameplay.
