Why do people keep saying R.L. is so horrible?

Do you dislike them just because they are a mass recruiting tribe? Every thread on the W37 forums seem to bash R.L. for some reason, many saying they have no war experience which is simply silly.

Though not always the key element in a war nor the first to declare, they have taken part in dismantling 10 different top 20 tribes. They may have not been the main figure in the war, but they took part in the wars..And more often than not, RL’s declaration led to the final nails being put in the coffin.

So, that is a positive of 1500 caps in ten wars. Should I also add that all of these wars happened in a five month period? (Late July to early January) This means that many of these tribes they were taking on at one time. I would say they are pretty experienced from where I stand.

So since it's obviously not from their lack of fighting, what is the real reason behind the R.L. bashing?

Dude, I were you I wouldn't worry about it. Many here are like sheep and have forgotten how to think for themselves and prefer repeating the same dribble that they hear from others. Plus, your size also is scary for some too. R.L shouldn't be underestimated and its record proves that.

Looks like a bunch of excuses to me. One player does not make a tribe, regardless of how important they are so one person leaving does not make a difference. Half the tribes you mention already being declared on had not fallen after several months of war, but with R.L. declaring they fell in under a month. That either says something bad about the ones they had been fighting with for over a month or says R.L.'s declaration made it too one sides.

The ones you say were not serious were still top 20 tribes, serious or not and mass recruiting or not. R.L. seems to be doing excellent for a mass recruitment tribe.

As I said, they may have not always been the major figure or first to declare, but they were involved in these wars and the said tribes DID try to fight back, therefor they count as wars. So tell me WHY do you make excuses of why they are horrible instead of facing the facts?

I guess that is true enough, thanks for the answer. It just confuses me that people can speak so highly of tribes that have done less shaping to the top 20 than R.L., yet speak so lowly of R.L. who has likely done as much, if not more than any other tribe in the top 20.


P.S. I'm not R.L., just an ex W37 member who has seen a growing trend.

Those tribes that were declared upon were falling, but the vultures of w37 wanted in on the carcass because they didn't want to start wars themselves. they might have been "top 20," but that means nothing on this world with the tribe limit. As has been said before, only the top 10 matter in this world, and that is being generous:icon_wink:

Technically. BLITZ! started as their own tribe and did not wish to merge, thus R.L. took the tribe under their wing.

Refugees or not, they still were SCUM and thus the stats still count. It was SCUM's own fault for recruiting refugees.

And yes, the stats against Ginger were close but R.L. still did more damage than any other tribe in W37 to Ginger.

I missed this as well a minute ago. you call them vultures, but they have been the first to declare and have done more damage to the opposing tribe in almost every major war they've been in. There have been a few exceptions but as I said originally, Ginger, SCUM, RBL, all wars of which R.L. began attacks before anyone else.

Until I left (went on holiday, not quit), Ginger was tied in the stats against R.L (50 v 300 members - quite a feat). I went on holiday and SCUM declared, only then did R.L. win.

R.L. hasn't done anything impressive without being aided by other tribes.

R.L. did not attack Ginger before anyone else. R.L didn't even declare. Ginger did, and we were at war with 3 tribes you later merged with, and Chess. Starting to see now why no one is paying attention to your "facts"?

But let's move on to pRo who is supposed to be so much better than R.L. and their wars.

Your most notable wars against top 20 tribes - Casino (230 caps), E=MC² (90 caps, "not a serious tribe"), FAD (170 caps, "not a serious tribe), MOB (170 caps, "not a serious tribe"), RBL (3 caps), SCUM (12 caps), then your one claim to fame at your 900 caps from rally, which I've been told is dying. That is 1575 caps in your major wars, nearly 300 less than R.L.. As for your losses, you have lost 145 villages making it less than half of R.L.'s losses. This gives you a positive of 1430 villages, around 70 less than R.L. Looks to me like R.L. is more productive against top 20 tribes.

09th Oct 2009 - 02:28:50 was when the major fighting between R.L. and SCUM started.

Forums may say different, but TWstats do not lie.

As for RBL, 23rd Aug 2009 - 05:00:03 is when RBL vs SCUM started.

15th Aug 2009 - 07:45:57 was RBL vs R.L. Your facts have failed you.

Once again, I am not an R.L. member. Also, R.L. still did more damage statistically than any other tribe. SCUM barely did any damage to GINGER at all, so saying SCUM is why Ginger fell is like saying 1ns4n3 is why Rally is failing. Barely even at war.

SCUM declaring was the nail in the coffin. Moral in a tribe, hope in a tribe, is often what keeps it going - not statistics.

With me gone for three weeks, Ginger effectively had no leader (moral goes down)
Ginger (50) v RL (300) - Low moral and so hope lowers
SCUM declare while Ginger is without a leader - Hope and moral disappears

How about you lead a couple of top tribes before commenting on what can/cannot kill them?

RL with 250 or so members now, compared to pRo with 70 or so members, manages to make a 70 village surplus over pRo...

That's good? That makes them better? Right...discounting the 150+ member difference and jumping in on wars, maybe then you'd have a case, but, as it stands, you don't.
