The noble cost goes down at a rate something like the following:

1000 players; 1/2
500 players; 1/3
300 players; 1/4
200 players; 1/5

I can't say those numbers are perfect, but that's about what it is. This world has a ways to go until you get half-priced. :)

When someone gets a chance it'd be nice if we could see the requirements for different discounts and closings for worlds, becomes a pain to look it up every time. Just if anyone feels like it :) otherwise maybe I'll throw it up when I get the chance.

[spoil]Please note that no setting change happens automatically. There is also no guarantee it will be happening within a day or even a week of the criteria being met. We periodically check all worlds to see what settings need to be changed and implement the changes after the check. Please do not send in support tickets requesting settings changes after the criteria has been met.

Closure of world to new registrations

Every few months we close worlds in order based on their age. There is no criteria for closing of registrations. In most cases an announcement will be posted around a week before the closure informing players.

Reduction of packets / gold coins to 1/2 of the original price

This setting will be implemented after the player count on a world falls below 1000 players and stays below for at least a week.

Reduction of packets / gold coins to 1/3 of the original price

Same as above, but this happens after the player count falls below 500 players and stays below for at least a week.

Reduction of packets / gold coins to 1/5 of the original price *NEW*

Same as above, but this happens after the player count falls below 200 players and stays below for at least a week.

Removal of morale and disabling of restarts *NEW*

The criteria for the removal of morale and disabling of restarts are:
  1. The world must be at least two years old.
  2. The player count must be below 300.
  3. The overall dominance of the top 2 tribes must be at least 85% *.

* Percentage of player owned villages.

Please note that once a world has been closed for at least 9 months the dominance criteria will be reduced to 70%.

But how do we win a world? *NEW*

One or two tribes can trigger a vote for deciding how the world will end by owning 85% of all player owned villages. Note that unlike the requirement for disabling restarts/morale, the two tribes must be allied.

Once a vote starts players on the world can either vote for the world to end after 2 months, 3 months or when all enemy opposition has been nobled out of the world. At least 50% of voters must vote for an option for it to go through. If that does not happen, the poll will be rerun with only the two most popular choices available.

Please note that the rank 1 tribe will be declared as the overall winner, and only players in the rank 1 tribe will receive premium prizes.

However, we are aware that all worlds are different and so for some it would take a very long time to trigger the vote. We will also accept requests from tribe leaders for the vote to start on a case by case basis. These will be carefully considered by our team and then either accepted/declined. If declined you must wait another 3 months before sending in a request. Please do not send in a request unless your tribe or your alliance has at least 70% domination.[/spoil]

We're set to have the world close for registration soon enough though. I think i saw that 45-48 were closed a week or so ago.
