I sniped with 2000 scouts once ...

Not optimal, but it worked.

What was the noble escort?

I will always remember an epic snipe in TWM by LastApparatus that was a small amount of spears and a few HC that killed off the smallest LC noble escort I have ever had the opportunity to see. It was something like 10 LC.

Noone makes 2k scouts in offensive villages.

You cant kill even 10 axes with 10/30 scouts.

As for smallest noble escorts

I have lost village to lone nobles used for recap without any escort,with a coordinated nuke from a different village killing my troops.

May be I will still go by fewer scouts in this world and if find ot not giving desired results , will change it.

I have always been a victim to white pony massacre's on no/limited haul worlds. Seems everyone hordes them. Knowledge of what your surrounding players have troop wise is power as alot of players are hesitant to attack on given setting's blindly. You will need without a doubt at least x10 the Scout numbers you are used to early game.

The escort was like 50 axe. I think the scouts killed two of the nobles in the train. I don't remember the details so much, mainly that i kept the village. I sniped from like a K away. I didn't say it was an O village or otherwise ...
