Ah I was referring to the tv series.
I played pokemon on nintendo when was a kid and I don't like pikachu because he's too overrated.

A lot less than half. Nauz managed a list of 100 - some don't play any more, some aren't even female.

There are 30000 players on W64 alone. Of course, there are females among them, but none that anyone knows of.

Either. In the games, you can catch them male or female. I think Ash's one is male though. It just... is!
