Why earn respect when you can force it on people with an oppressive rule. Though i guess that means they sometimes rebel against you. But then you can follow the gaddafi plan and kill huge numbers of your citizens. Because that is guranteed not to cause any resentment within your country towards you or lower the opinion of people from elsewhere towards you :icon_biggrin:
