I laughed so much when I heard they had made an academy. In Punch's defence though, the general member is [understandably] angry about it and it was certain ex-VOID players and the Dukes of Punch (?) that gave the go ahead/organised this.

Regarding the whole Lanky thing, I really think his reasoning is quite simple, and, to some extent, justified.

What is tribe loyalty? Personally, theres no such thing in most cases, at least from my perspective. Loyalty is directed towards the people you play with, not just the mere tag of a tribe. We would all like to think that once a player joins a tribe they should be loyal, but if they have no friends in the tribe then that will not be the case. A player in a tribe with no friends has no reason to be there, because then it defeats the entire purpose of this game- to have fun.

Were the VOID members wrong to leave WIN and join Punch? Yes, but that was a different case and I don't agree with their actions. However, imo, any subsequent people that left after them were a bit more justified, since this game isn't worth playing if its not with your friends. The game is actually pretty boring if theres no one to play it with :p



As for the whole !!PA!! thing, why was it created in the first place? I saw calmir called it an academy, and if thats the case then why now? Why there in the core and not on the rim? Doesn't really make sense to me.

Academy for want of bothering to use another word. Perhaps satellite tribe would work best? Either way, it is very funny. :icon_wink:

more like outcome of curiosity of a member, he wanted to see what we've been telling him for days. It'll be back to normal soon, and calling it an academy is completely wrong :icon_wink:
