Is the the MoM build?

Also it's a nice guide, but if you are next to a guy not mine rushing then those barracks could see your sexy village gone in an instant. You should really aim to have some troops if the nobles come knocking.

Er, this will be fun. It's going to take what, 15h to finish clay? Going 5 hq would easily brush off 10h off the clay to 25 build. That with wood 25 would make it over 15h.

I took world speed into account. Not going hq 5 before going over 15 clay or something like that is just wasteful. It doesn't take long or cost a lot at all.

Yeah this is certainly imperfect. There are more efficient solutions. Especially given the 1/3 res boost.

I'm also very sure that going, iron 2 - iron 8, is horribly inefficient. Because that will leave you with an iron over flow for a couple of days and just generally waste time.

In my opinion, not one guide is really efficient. Mainly because they don't factor in any troops or market offers. Best is to just keep wood and clay up to 4-5 levels in front of iron for the first 25 levels or so and or get iron when you see you're going to be lacking.

I doubt that the resource boost really influences a lot in regards for the guides. Though they don't take quests into account & as you said, they don't take the new building time into account.

If you are completely lost, fallow the guide that has quests though don't go iron 2 - iron 8 and make hq 5 a lot earlier.

The quests will help some in speeding up the process, but the general build order will still be the same overall. Even if you rush certain quests to get their resources that doesn't guarantee that you will be quicker overall with your building.

Some quests leave you with extra iron, clay or wood. So then fallowing the same building pattern is silly. Others give you a huge leap.

not a bad guide, but as others pointed out; I don't like how you wait so long to upgrade HQ. At some point you need to get it up there to make those resources finish faster. Also, farm 2 so late? Makes no sense. I understand that you don't need as many troops in a no haul world, but you will have no troops for the first 5-7 days based on this guide. Not a bad START but I don't like the middle that much and the end isn't too good. But +1 for effort and the beginning.

Indeed, you may aim for your warehouse 3 a bit sooner just to get that quest reward, or get your pits to around 9/8/6 for that quest reward, but overall your build will still fall back into the same general pattern.

Upgrade hq when hq queues take ages to do. It's pretty simple. There's no need to upgrade them at a certain point, you can do it as you feel like it. Though waiting for clay 25 to finish with 1 hq? That's crazy.

Oh, I don't agree with xshahzad's build at all. I think you're misunderstanding a bit. That post you linked has a solid build on it but it doesn't take into account the quests, which you'd likely detour from the build slightly in order to complete them but overall your build order would be pretty much the same.

I think the W56 guides are a bit out dated as the construction time has changed, also now a days their is a slightly higer resource i.e. 33.3% more than W56.

This may be true but if the only change is increased resources between w56 and w71 then that doesn't change much other than being able to build things sooner. All the more reason to need a higher level HQ earlier.
