Not going to lie, I read and enjoyed the Twilight books. Not so much a mushy love story as all the girls made it sound like it would be

Bernard Cornwell as an author all around, Ive read Stonehenge, Arthur Series, and England Series

On twilight I agree but it was only good after Ness was born in my opinion.

Golden Compass, read them all, enjoyed them but I also like the Da Vinc Code and Legacy of the Force series (star Wars).

Lost Years of Merlin i loved as a kid but haven't read them since.

Keys to the kingdom and Pendragon good for young adults series.

Literally the greatest series I have ever read. Takes fantasy to a whole new level in my opinion, and I have read a lot of fantasy. It's for a much more mature audience than Harry Potter, seriously, check this series out!
